A/N: I was very skeptical whether I should write this chapter or not. But it felt like I needed to write this one for Noah. I understand it is a WattPad fantasy story, and so many authors tend to skip the trauma recovery part of the story or their characters just automatically get over the trauma, but it is not how traumas work.

Even if my story is a work of fantasy, I want to make sense and not magically make my character forget everything and start having a life with all rainbows and flowers.. IYKYK!

Noah's POV

Once we were done with our little picnic thing, Tyler said he wanted to take me somewhere, so we wrapped up early and started walking on a street in Omega Haven.

We passed through the street filled with many shops and restaurants only for Omegas.

Tyler stopped walking when we reached a cafe that had 2 floors with glass windows all around.

He opened the door, and a bell jingled, signaling our arrival to the staff.

I looked around the cafe and noticed a cozy atmosphere with comfortable seating and soft lighting.

The first floor consisted of reception, a few tables to sit at, and a huge wall full of books. The whole wall was turned into a bookshelf, and all the omegas (customers and staff) inside the cafe were so comfortable and relaxed.

Tyler went further inside, and I followed him. That is when I realized there was a section in the cafe where there was a table setup and an old woman sitting and reading a book.

As soon as she saw Tyler, she beamed up and got up from her seat to hug him.

"How have you been, Mrs. Brown?" Tyler asked once they let go of the hug but held each other's hands together.

"I've been great. It is fun watching all these kids come and sit and chat with each other. Some of them are regulars and talk to me about their day, while others are new and ask me questions about the stuff," Mrs. Brown replied with a warm smile.

"I have missed coming here too. I wish I had more time so that I could come here daily and talk to you like we used to." Tyler replied.

"I have missed having you here too. But I understand that you have a new mate now and you don't want to leave each other for long." Mrs. Brown replied.

"Oh right, Mrs. Brown, this is Noah, my best friend and the future Luna of our pack." Tyler said, pointing at me.

Mrs. Brown looked at me and smiled really warmly while holding a hand out for me.

I hesitantly took her hand and walked near her.

She held my other hand as well and said, "Welcome child, I am Mrs. Brown, the owner of this cafe and hopefully the person you can come to for any help or guidance you may need."

Listening to her words made me feel a little awkward but also comforted.

Awkward because it was our first meeting and she was a stranger to me, but it was even more awkward because she was so kind and looked so warm and welcoming that denying her felt like a sin.

"H-hello," I cleared my throat to say something back, feeling awkward.

"I am Noah, and you know the rest," I said, giving the best smile I could muster.

As if she could see through me, she gave my hands a little squeeze and mouthed, it's okay, and once again gave me that warm smile of hers.

I was confused as to why she did that but went with it and tugged at our hands so that she could let go.
