In modern-day Shanghai, the city's skyline is not the only thing that touches the heavens. Hidden among the skyscrapers and bustling streets are beings from different realms and timelines, each with their own fate interwoven by destiny.

The grand estate of the Mobei family stood in majestic silence under the setting sun, its opulent halls and lush gardens bathed in golden light. Inside the sprawling manor, Mobei-Jun, the young master of the household, was seated behind a massive mahogany desk in his study. The room was decorated with intricate tapestries and expensive furnishings, a testament to Mobei-Jun's immense wealth and status.

Mobei-Jun was poring over a stack of documents, his brow furrowed in concentration. Despite the imposing aura he projected, there was a softness in his eyes, a weariness that spoke of long hours and endless responsibilities. The sound of footsteps approaching his study made him glance up briefly.

Shang Qinghua, his ever-loyal assistant, entered the room with his usual blend of enthusiasm and grace. "My King," he began, his voice carrying a playful undertone, "I've brought the reports you requested."

Mobei-Jun looked up from his paperwork, his expression unreadable. "Leave them on the desk. I'll review them later."

Shang Qinghua, ever perceptive to the nuances of his employer's mood, noticed the fatigue in Mobei-Jun's eyes. "You've been working non-stop. Maybe it's time for a break?"

Mobei-Jun's lips twitched into a faint, almost imperceptible smile. "I don't have time for breaks."

Shang Qinghua walked over and gently took the papers from Mobei-Jun's hands. "You do, and you need it. Besides, it's not good for your health to be so absorbed in work."

Mobei-Jun sighed, a hint of frustration in his voice. "I appreciate your concern, Qinghua, but you know how important these matters are."

Shang Qinghua's eyes softened with understanding. He placed the papers aside and leaned against the desk, his gaze locked with Mobei-Jun's. "I understand, My King. But even kings need to rest."

Mobei-Jun's eyes met Shang Qinghua's, the weariness giving way to something more vulnerable. "You're persistent, as always."

Shang Qinghua's smile widened. "That's because I care about you. I'm not just your assistant, remember?"

Mobei-Jun's gaze faltered for a moment. The walls he had built around himself seemed to waver under the warmth of Shang Qinghua's gaze. "You have your duties. I have mine."

Shang Qinghua reached out, placing a comforting hand on Mobei-Jun's shoulder. "And part of my duty is to make sure you don't forget to take care of yourself. And to remind you that you're not alone in this."
