"Were, you followed Rose?
"No, master Elijah."
"Did, you bring, the supplies?"
"Yes." Rose nodded her head and stood as Elijah sat in a chair and held his hands together." He looked in the flames and stared at them as they burned.
"She'll never, forgive me, this time Rose."
"May, I ask where she is?"
Elijah let out a sigh and looked into the flames still, as they flickered in the fireplace in his bedroom.
"I have taken her, Rose, to the dungeon, as punishment for her actions. I chained her Rose and I left her there. Left her to rot."
Rose stared at Elijah, eyes going wide before his eyes. Horror was on her face though she didn't show it. Not, understanding, her master's choice gor consequence. Or, why, he had done, what he had done. But, also his cruelest. He put Neryssa in the most horrible and disgusting of places. Rose knew, for she had been down there before and had seen it.
"I thought, by showing her the night would make her happy, that dinner and all that I provided to her would, make her forget ever mentioning leaving me. It is clear, that she is still ungrateful and aggorgant."
Elijah clenched his hand into a fist as he had his eblow now on the arm rest of his chair.
"She will be fine, for the night. As, I didn't kill her. I only drank too much. She is just weak, and badly injured."
"Don't tend to her Rose, she is in fear. She is scared and afraid. When, she saw my face she, started screamin in terror and trembling."
"Leave her, like that. She won't die. She just needs punishement. Realization, who I am and whose house and authority she is under. Until, she realizes that there will be no medical attention needed at the moment or any given, unless I say so."
"Go now, Rose and leave me."
It was far worse, than I could have ever imagined. I walked away and held the knob of Elijah'd door, closing it shut and tight.
The happiness and the excitment that Elijah had, it died. Elijah's happiness once again was replaced, with much anger and hate. I never expected this or that he would punish Neryssa in this way. Elijah was known to be cruel. Just like his brother Niklaus, but he had never shown tbis side of cruelty in such a long time. Niklaus was still far worser, however. Elijah's evilness come out as he had with Trevor and I. It was the very reason, Trevor fled and wouldn't reveal himself to Elijah. He knew, his mistake and his error. He hid from sight. If Elijah found him, I didn't want to know the outcome or think. I closed my eyes, I was hurt myself and felt something for the first time. I didn't know what it was by something wet was coming from my eyes. I tasted salt, as they were wet like rain pouring down. This never, happened to me and my stomach hurt, as I held it. Why, was I crying? Were these, what they called tears? What the humans used? I saw Neryssa, do it a lot. Was I crying for her?
