The full story has yet to be told but here is a step toward revision.

Before there is the form of creation that we have some knowledge of there is God and his angels.

Hubris can develop if you are part of a beginning.

Memory of a perfect time is easily constructed if it is being later recounted but that is probably how all angels remember the time prior to the angelic rebellion.

The puzzle is how hubris began in the expanse of so many angels in a continuum of the kind of angel within a space where there is no universe.

Of course, in an expanse where there isa variety in distinction among the angels, there is a chance for hubris if there is competition for favor.

Observe the part of creation which we can see, and it is clear such a task is demanding even if an expanse of angels of many distinctions is employed in making all of creation.

The part of creation that we can see is only a tiny part of what is made.

Angels with many distinctions suggests a hierarchy of angels: the lesser versions of common angels continuing through ever more elite distinction of angel.

Did the demands of the task of the universe's creation encourage hubris in the highest angelic ranks?

Is there one angelic rebellion or many?

After all, even observable creation suggests uncountable sentient beings which God might wish his angelic realm to show appreciation of his creation.

Sometimes there might be a rebellion and sometimes not.

There is only one sentient species that we know anything about.

Morningstar just didn't appreciate those first versions of ourselves.

When Satan chose to be our enemy: knowing full well that we'd out number him and his companions: bringing them to judgment.

Maybe, fundamentalist Christians are just repeating what Satan did in refusing to acknowledge the potential of our first human ancestors.

Some just don't understand the true magnificence of God, they prefer humanizing God.

The enemy is always busy.

First, the act of despoilment that encouraged the worst in ourselves.

We know what God did for a reset.

More practically, the enemy found creative means to control humanity.

Using hierarchy and elite incentives to encourage power hungry narcissists to keep everyone else in check.

A favorite tactic to build and destroy cultures across millennia, focusing leader and pagan god worship.

Then there was a way to defeat the enemy.

Satan responded with a counter measure: placing himself as the center of worship and built an empire that crushed the foundations that the way had encouraged.

Corruption can't persist indefinitely, and canon took hold and Satan's empire faded backward.

The enemy returned his counter strategy of millennia past of hierarchy and elite control of humanity until technology enabled him to shred canon into many, contradicting fragments.

Technology could be the enemy's undoing if we can use it to unite us against him and his manipulation of hierarchy and the advantaged few.

It is not a task that humanity can do on its own.
