There are deliberate, culturally induced and unavoidable circumstances.

Deliberate choices when there are many available options and the consequence of making a particular choice is known to the one making a given choice.

Culturally induced choice when the human culture limits the possible choices to fewer available choices.

Often the purpose of limiting choices is about distributing resources in a particular way.

Unavoidable circumstances could be one's age, access to resources and health.

How we see ourselves reflects our preparations for our contact with others.

Sometimes those preparations are intricate in detail and other times not so much.

Favorable response to preparations combined with how we conduct ourselves can enlarge our perceptions, unduly.

Generally, the ego swells and requires a reset.

How we use the limited time each day between solitary actions and the time with others

relies on our choices for solitary actions and our choices in time with others.

Hopefully, most of the time choices and actions are done well.

But our life progresses on a sine curve of ups and downs, endlessly.

A series of accumulated good and bad choices tend to follow each other.

When they balance out then life continues as we desire.

Watch out: accumulate mostly bad choices and consequences are not so desirable.

Horrible though it might be in a given moment, it just triggers a reset.

Mistakes noted and corresponding measures taken until the next reset.

Grotesque is primarily a perception of others about you when their standards of how to act and how to be disagrees with how they see you.

That is, you standout in a negative way to others.

One can be completely oblivious until you discover their perceptions.

When we are the other, your perceptions may seem completely obvious.

Perceptions about another person spring forth in our thoughts without restraint.

That is, the best time to grab hold of the reigns and rethink those thoughts.

Best reign in a physical sign of your thoughts until you've examined those thoughts.

Many times, thoughts arise before there is sufficient information that those thoughts are accurate.

Mostthoughts and recent actions of others remain private.

Rare that most people will directly articulate what those thoughts might be: one, normally, must piece together similar reactions from different people to understand what is happening.

If the signs are sufficiently ambiguous, your interpretation of such signs will be wrong.

If everyone else is showing signs of shock, then you know you are in big social trouble.

Then it might be time for an earnest self-examination.
