Full Names

Poppy, Viva, and the Brozone brothers were down in Branch's bunker just relaxing when Poppy had a thought come to mind.

Poppy: Hey Branch, I just realized that I've known you forever and don't even know your full name.

Viva: Yeah, same here, Clay.

The brothers all looked at each other with worried glances.

Branch: Well, it's just that our full names are how shall I say it?

Clay: Old timey?

JD: Especially Branch's. His is funny.

Poppy: That's it! We will all sit in a circle telling each other our full names.

Branch: Oh boy.

Viva: Okay, here's how we'll do it. From oldest to youngest. So, JD?

JD: *sighs* John Dory Elias Hawthorne.

Bruce: Spruce Wilbur Hawthorne.

Clay: Clayton Xavier Hawthorne.

Viva: Viva Elizabeth Caladium

Floyd: Floyd Jasper Hawthorne.

Branch looked at everyone and Poppy, especially then inhaling he exhales.

Branch: Pass.

Everyone: What?!

Poppy: Branch, why don't you want to say your full name?

Branch: Because...

JD: Because his middle name is such a hoot! Hahaha!

Bruce: *pulls John Dory's ear* John!

Branch: *sighs* Yeah, kinda what John Dory said. You'll laugh.

Poppy: Branch, I promise I won't. I... pinky promise.

Everyone: *gasps loudly*!!!

Branch: Fine. It's Branch... *looks at Poppy, who's holding his hand* it's Branch Bartholomew Hawthorne.

Branch looked at Poppy, whose mouth was down.

Poppy: Wow. I was not expecting that.

Clay: Yeah, our parents were old school.

Poppy: I love it!

Branch: Really?

Poppy: Uh yeah! It's better than mine! Poppy Lisianthus Caladium.

Brozone: Whoa.

Poppy: *smiles* Yeah, that's why I like to just go by Poppy. Hahaha!
