Vox's Pawn and I parted ways, our plan set in motion. But I knew the complexity of our situation. Alliances were fragile, and hidden agendas lurked beneath the surface.
Vox's Pawn's Pov
I returned to Vox, feigning loyalty. "Husker's on our side," I lied. "He'll provide intel on Alastor."
Vox's eyes narrowed. "I want results. Now."
I nodded, buying time. My allegiance remained with Alastor, but the web of deceit tightened. One misstep would mean discovery, and death.
Vox's gaze lingered, as if sensing my duplicity. I maintained my facade, masking my true intentions.
"Report to me directly," Vox ordered. "I want every detail."
I nodded, aware of the danger. Vox's suspicion grew, and I had to tread carefully.
Husker's Pov
I pondered our next move, ensuring Alastor's safety. Vox's Pawn's loyalty was crucial, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that we were playing with fire.
Alastor's powers grew stronger, and (Y/n) remained the key. But only Vox's Pawn and I knew the truth. For now, it had to stay that way.
I thought back to my conversation with Vox's Pawn. Their determination to protect Alastor was genuine, but the risks were high.
If Vox discovered our alliance, it would mean war.
~Time Skip~
Vox schemed, oblivious to the traitor in his midst. His focus remained on exploiting Alastor's potential, unaware of the danger lurking beneath the surface.
"Valentino, Velvet," Vox summoned his loyal followers. "We need to accelerate Alastor's development."
Valentino nodded, his expression eager. "I'll push him to his limits."
Velvet smiled, her eyes gleaming. "And I'll ensure his... motivation."
Their sinister intentions sent a chill down my spine. We had to act fast, before Vox's plans unfolded.
As tensions escalated, allegiances would be tested. Who would emerge victorious in this game of deception?
