Alastors Pov
"Where could my shadow have gone to this time?" I think as I'm preparing for my broadcast.
It's been acting strange ever since we returned from the living world. Ever since our first meeting with (y/n) in fact. It would stand with its ears folded down and its eyes glowing softly as if it was disappointed. When I would give it an order, it would carry it out rather slowly as if it had no energy.
It's never acted like this before. Perhaps it went back to the living world? Maybe I should go back after my broadcast.
My thoughts are interrupted by a muffled cry beside me.
"Ah yes, I almost forgot...." I mumble as I grab the wayward soul from his place on the ground at my feet.
I stare at the wayward sinner for a few minutes as I feel my smile widen even further at the sight of him. After a few more minutes, I begin my broadcast by tearing into him. Relishing in his screams as I tear his soul apart piece by piece....

"My, that was certainly entertaining. He lasted longer than I thought he would." I thought as I melted into the floor and arrived in the lobby of the hotel.
When I arrive in the lobby, I walk over to the bar to have a glass of whiskey before I visit the living world. My smile widens at the thought of seeing (y/n) again.
"A glass of whiskey, my good man!" I say, sitting on one of the bar stools.
"You're in a good mood." He grumbles, grabbing a bottle of whiskey and pouring it into a glass in front of me.
"Ah yes, my broadcast was very successful!" I say cheerfully.
God this smile hurts
Husker pushes the glass closer to me and begins to pour another glass for himself. We both remain silent as we drink our glasses, enjoying the silence of the lobby. Which is rare considering that the annoying spider is usually always here flirting with Husker or anyone else for that matter.
As I'm drinking my whiskey, I hear those words (y/n) said before Husker and I left that night.
Will I see you again?
"You will, my dear." I say in my mind, placing the empty glass onto the bar.
"You going somewhere?" Husker asks, taking my glass and cleaning it.
"To the living world." I say, grabbing my cane and straightening my bow tie.
"You're going back? Why?" He asks.
"It appears that my shadow has returned to the living world without me knowing." I say, walking away.
"Bull shit, it's because you want to see (y/n) again. She's the real reason you're going back." He exclaims.
"Am I hoping to see her again? Yes. But, I'm not going to give him the satisfaction of being right." I think to myself.
"Care to join me?" I ask, turning to face him once more.
"No. I've got better things to do than follow (y/n) around." He grumbles.
"Very well, then." I say, turning around as a portal opens up to the living world.

As soon as I arrive in the living world, I change into my human disguise. Wouldn't want anyone other than (y/n) to see my demon form. I begin the search for my shadow, starting at the alley where I met (y/n).
According to Husker, (y/n) has been going to the bar every night ever since she arrived in New Orleans to find her next victim after her broadcasts. As I'm searching the alley for any sign of my shadow, I hear a familiar voice coming from the front.
"Other than having to clean my old manager's office, it was a good day... wouldn't you agree?" (Y/n) says.
She has the voice of an angel.
I make my way towards the front, peeking around the corner to see that (y/n) was speaking to my shadow. I notice that it's getting anxious as it waits for her to lock up. As soon as she turns around, my shadow darts off in the direction of the bar. I watch as (y/n) laughs at its reaction, shaking her head as she follows it.
"Well, this is certainly interesting." I say to myself as I continue to follow both of them.
When (y/n) arrives at the front door of the bar, my shadow wraps around her neck. It's eyes glowing mischievously as it looks between her and the door.
"Are you that excited to pick my next victim?" She asks.
My shadow grunts and nods its head excitedly, causing her to laugh.
"Ok...OK, now hide before someone sees you!" She laughs.
I watch as my shadow unwraps itself from her neck and disappears into her shadow as she opens the door, walking inside.
~Time skip~
It's been a few hours since (y/n) entered the bar. I'm sitting not too far away, keeping my distance as I continue to watch in silence. She glances around the bar taking in her surroundings, sipping on her drink. I look down towards her shadow, seeing a pair of glowing green eyes looking up at her.
After a few minutes, a young man appears at the bar to order another drink. As he waits for the bartender to make his drink, he looks over at (y/n). His eyes slowly roaming all over her body, taking in every detail, causing my blood to boil.
Get away from her....
I watch as (y/n) becomes uneasy from the young man's stare. When she finishes her drink, the young man speaks.
"Bartender, another drink for the lady." He says.
"No, thank you, one was enough." (Y/n) says to the bartender, reaching into her purse.
He grabs her arm lightly.
"Put it on my tab." He says, never taking his eyes off of her.
"T... thank you." She says, hopping off the bar stool.
"Not so fast, sweetheart." He says, gripping her arm tightly.
Enough of this...
I stand up from my place at the bar and make my way over to them. My eyes never leaving the young man. I can feel my blood boiling in my veins as I get closer. I've never had an interest in dating anyone during my time. I didn't see the point in dating or romance, that is, until I met (y/n).
"Take your hands off her." I say, causing the young man to look at me.
"Or what?" He hisses.
I grab the young man's arm, prying it off of her.
*Snap*
"YOU BASTARD!!!" He screams, holding his broken arm.
After a moment, I wrap my arm around (y/n), pulling her close to me as we make our way towards the door. My smile widening, hearing the young man screaming from behind as the door finally closes.
She's mine...
