Vox's Pawn's Pov

I reported to Vox, feeding him carefully crafted lies. Husker's intel on Alastor's powers grew more valuable by the day.

"Alastor's progress is impressive," I said, maintaining my facade.

Vox's eyes narrowed, his rivalry with Alastor simmering. "We can't let him surpass me."

I nodded, hiding my unease. The web of deceit tightened.

Husker's Pov

I watched Vox's Pawn navigate the treacherous landscape. Their loyalty to Alastor remained unwavering, but the risks grew.

Alastor, in his human form, remained with (Y/n) at her house, his demon form hidden from prying eyes.

Only (Y/n) had witnessed his true nature, and Alastor intended to keep it that way.

As night fell, Alastor's tension grew. He sensed the darkness gathering, Vox's minions closing in.

(Y/n) approached him, concern etched on her face.

"Alastor, what's wrong?" She asked.

He hesitated, unsure how much to reveal.

"You're in danger, (Y/n). Stay close." He replies

Their eyes locked, and for a moment, the world outside melted away.

Alastor's Pov

(Y/n)'s proximity ignited a fire within me. My human form struggled to contain the demon's passion.

I pushed the thoughts aside, focusing on our survival. But (Y/n)'s touch sparked a craving I couldn't ignore.

"Alastor?" (Y/n) whispered, her voice husky.

I turned, my eyes burning with intensity.

"Yes, (Y/n)?" I ask, leaning in to kiss her.

Our lips almost touched, the air thick with anticipation.

And then, a knock at the door shattered the moment.
