Flashback

"My, my, what do we have here?"

"Who's there?"

I'm standing a few feet away from him in the shadows causing him to squint his eyes in order to get a better look at me from where he's standing. As if that would help him.

"You've been followin me?"

"What fur?"

"For this...."

End of flash back

*gasp*

"What the hell was that?" I ask myself as I sit up in my bed.

After a few silent minutes I throw the covers off and make my way to the bathroom. I turn on the light and walk over to the sink to splash some cold water on my face to cool off letting the sink run as I stand over it thinking of what that dream was.

"What a weird dream." I mutter, turning off the sink, drying my face as I make my way back to bed.

I slip back under the covers and reach for my phone checking the time before i go to sleep.

"5am.." I say as I put my phone back on my nightstand and roll over closing my eyes.

Wait........ 5AM?!!!!!!

"Shit I'm late!!!!!!" I exclaim as I jump out of bed and turn on the light rushing over to my closet to grab some clothes.

As I make my way back to the bathroom to change I look at myself in the body length mirror and freeze. I noticed that I was wearing the same clothes I had on Monday night and that I was completely covered in blood from head to toe. I walk closer to the mirror inspecting myself. I had blood on my face, in my hair and.....my teeth?

"Why am I covered in blood again? And why is it in my teeth?" I ask myself walking away and jumping in the shower.

~Time Skip~

"Shit... shit... shit... he's going to be absolutely furious." I say in my mind as I run down the street leading to the radio station.

As I'm running I keep going back to what I saw in the mirror as I was rushing to get ready for work. Blood, I was completely covered in blood again. Was it mine or someone else's? How did it get there? Why was it in my teeth? What happened last night? I don't remember.

My thoughts are interrupted as I stop in front of the radio station, placing my hands on my knees as I catch my breath. I haven't run like that in a while and I gotta say my ribs were absolutely killing me.

After collecting myself and straightening my clothes to make myself presentable, I pull on the door to find it to be.... locked? Which I find odd because the doors are usually unlocked when I get here at four o'clock. I take a few steps back and look up to the third floor where his office is to see that there's no light on inside.

"Did he forget to show up?" I think to myself.

I stood there for a few more minutes thinking that maybe he was late. I pull out my phone to check the time and see if he had called or texted me which he didn't. Sighing I place my phone back in my pocket looking up at his office one last time before walking back home where I can at least make a cup of coffee since I was in such a hurry.

~Time Skip Again~

"All that running for nothing." I say as I close the door, walking to the kitchen to make me a cup of coffee and turning on the TV for the news.
