Chapter Eleven

Sung Jeongyeon was now making her way to the meeting place where she and Jin-ho are supposed to meet along with the other hunters that he had recruited in order for them to enter a dungeon. Once, she had reached the place, Sung Jeongyeon wanted to think that she was dreaming or a horrible attempt of a joke from Jin-ho.

"What's all this, Jin-ho?" Jeongyeon asked.

"They're our teammates for today!" Jin-ho answered enthusiastically.

"Right..." Jeongyeon draws out as she looked at their teammates and inhaled a deep breath to calm herself down before noticing one of their teammates. "So, even a kid is allowed to do raids now?" she asked Jin-ho and the girl felt offended by that.

"Well, even if you're an underaged kid as long as you're awakened, then there's no law banning you from doing raids." Jin-ho explained to her.

"Kid? That's rude." The girl told Jeongyeon whom just looked at her with a monotone face. "I'm a full-fledged hunter."

Jeongyeon crossed her arms. "You're still at highschool, right? Do you even have any raid experience?" she asked the girl.

"N... None." The girl answered.

"I'm assuming that you must be at E rank." Jeongyeon said as she turned and walked away from her. "It's fine if you don't do anything, just wait outside. Only Jin-ho and I are the ones entering the dungeon."

Jeongyeon began telling Jin-ho about what they should do while her and him were talking to the team about the contract they have signed. Once, that was done. The two of them made their way to the gate when Jeongyeon sighed.

"You know, I've been wondering..." Jeongyeon mumbled before looking at Jin-ho with an unimpressed look on her face. "What the hell are you wearing?" she asked.

"It's a full set of hardened armor made in an Italian artisan guild." Jin-ho boasted. "If we're going to raid with just the two of us, shouldn't I prepare at least this much."

Jeongyeon stared at him before poking his chest armor which made Jin-ho fell down on his back making her groan in irritation. "Take the armor off while I'm being this nice." She told him, "The next time that you're going to wear an armor. Ask Y/n oppa for consultation and he can help you in wearing a suitable one."

"Yes, noona..." Jin-ho answered while tears rolled down his face. "Ah, how is Y/n oppa? I haven't seen him in a while."

"He's doing alright." Jeongyeon answered. "Why?"

"Nothing, he's kind of trending the past few weeks since there was a photo of him with Cha Hae-in floating around in social media." Jin-ho said.

Jeongyeon stopped dead in her tracks and while Jin-ho was taking off his armor, he yelps in terror when Jeongyeon was now standing right in front of him with a dangerous look in her eyes. "Jeongyeon noona?!" he exclaimed in surprise.

"What did you just say...?" Jeongyeon asked in a low voice that sent shivers all throughout Jin-ho's very being while she grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, glaring at him very intensely that her blue eyes started to glow.

"Nothing! I said nothing at all!" Jin-ho cried out.

After doing all of the dungeon raids, Jeongyeon went home feeling satisfied especially she gained quite a lot of experience points from doing the raids along with earning a lot of cash from doing so especially after making the contract with Jin-ho. She drank a mana potion while looking at the one of the screen tabs in front of her while Jin-ho was busy mining for some crystals as she deals with the monsters.

The wolf monster went in to attack her but Jeongyeon was quick enough to move out of the way and use her skill, 'Vital Strike' which killed the beast.

Required level? Jeongyeon looked at the screen in front of her in confusion before another screen tab has popped up in front of her but this time it was a different one.

[A JOB CHANGE QUEST HAS ARRIVED]

[WILL YOU ACCEPT THE QUEST?

ACCEPT / REFUSE ]

"Job change?" Jeongyeon read the tab in a mumble and then remember that her job in her status screen had none in it.

After that everything happened in the last dungeon they have to clear. Jeongyeon went home wanting nothing but to rest but also look at her oppa's face before going to sleep. It's like a ritual in order for her to have a good night's sleep, she has to see Y/n's handsome face before hitting the hay.

"Jeongyeon." And it seems that God was listening to her because right before she entered the elevator, Y/n was just right behind her coming back from his work.

"Oppa." Jeongyeon smiled as she almost destroyed one of the buttons of the elevator so Y/n could enter and so that they can go their floors together. "You're later than usual." She noted.

"Ah, yeah." Y/n laughs as he loosened his necktie for a bit, it took all of Jeongyeon's willpower to not stare too intently at the action when he did so. "Our boss held a drinking party so all of us had to go." He told her.

"It always surprises me of how high your alcohol tolerance is, oppa." Jeongyeon told Y/n who chuckled at that.

"I've been invited to drinking parties way back when I was still in university, Jeongyeon-ah." Y/n answered. "So, I got used to having to drink a lot."

"Drinking parties, huh?" Jeongyeon repeated in a mumble before furrowing her eyebrows in confusion. "You never once told me about those before."

All of a sudden, a chill just went pass through Y/n's whole body. "R-Really...?" he stuttered while laughing nervously. "Are you s-sure?" he asked her.

Jeongyeon just frowned at him and Y/n sighed in defeat. "W-Well, my classmates from before always invited me to drinking parties because apparently, the other girls from different departments won't be coming to the party if I'm not going..." He muttered and he was shocked and terrified at the menacing look that Jeongyeon was giving him right now. "I-I didn't want to! But I just feel bad if I don't!" he told her.

Jeongyeon just scowled at him. "Uh-huh..." she mumbled.

Y/n sighed. "Jeongyeon-ah." He whined, "I promise I never dated anyone because you're the one I only ever wanted in my life!" he pleaded.

Just as he said that, the elevator doors opened to reveal three elderly women who all placed their hands on their mouths in surprise. Y/n gaped while Jeongyeon flared up in embarrassment as she raised the collar of her jacket to hide her face as she ran out of the elevator and to her residence.

"Jeongyeon-ah, wait!" Y/n shouted at her but apologized to the elderly women with a bow before sighing. "I guess I really should try not to overwhelm her too much..." he sighed before chuckling as he made his way to his apartment.

"Well, Jeongyeon-ah is pretty cute when she's jealous." He hummed to himself as he opened the door to his apartment.
