Chapter 40: Failed Mission

Zero's POV:

Once me, Professor Goodwitch and Blackbeard arrived at the command center we got to the door.

Zero: Okay once the building is secured that is where we can find information on who is buying Amber Ruin.

Glynda: How are we going to be doing this?

Zero: I'm going to be going left Blackbeard you go right and Glynda you watch our six.

Glynda: Okay.

Blackbeard: You got it Zero.

I held three fingers up I started to count down. After I counted down Blackbeard opened the door and we started to clear the base. As we cleared the rooms we reached the last room once we entered the room we noticed that there was burned fields on the floor.

Blackbeard: It looks like someone was trying to burn the fields.

Zero: It seems that way Glynda. see what fields are still good.

Glynda: I'm on it.

Zero: Blackbeard watch the door.

Blackbeard: Got it.

Zero: I'm going to see what I can find on the computer.

I made my way to the computer and started to search but I saw that the data was deleted.

Zero: All of the data was deleted. Glynda are you having any luck?

Glynda: I haven't seen any of fields that are usable.

Blackbeard: I just noticed something.

Zero: What that Blackbeard?

Blackbeard: We did encounter that many guards on their way here.

Zero: That is suspicious.

Glynda: Could they be at the building where the gas is being manufactured?

I tried to look up the security footage but it was deleted too.

Zero: They even deleted the footage from the security cameras.

Blackbeard: Hopefully the other team has been having better luck then we are having.

Zero: I'm going to get a hold of Northman he may have to find some.

I got on the radio and called Northman

Zero: *radio* Zero to Northman do you copy.

I don't hear anyone on the other end of the radio.

Zero: *radio* Northman do you copy.

I have no response back from Northman.

Zero: I can't get a hold of Northman.

Blackbeard: Maybe he is hiding from whatever guards that are in the boat house.

Zero: I hope so.

Holt's POV:

As me and my team were approaching the building that Amber Ruin is being manufactured I saw two guards standing outside of the door I put my hand up to make the orders. Once we stopped I looked at Finka and nodded my head, she understood. We ready our weapons and shot the two guards at the same time. When the guards were down we moved in. once we got to the door I saw there was a keycard reader on the wall next to the door.

Holt: Shit there is a keycard reader.

Finka: Was there, when this place a drug lab?

Holt: I think they put it in after they find it.
