"It's nice to meet you both." Yoongi said, leading Felix and San to his usual lab station. "Sorry if you ever felt we were too intrusive. I promise, we had no ill intentions."
They took the elevator to the last floor where Project REPLICA had began.
"It's not a problem." San replied.
"Well, this is where I've spent most of my time for the past year."
The entire area was spotless with tons of high tech equipment in nearly every corner. This was exactly what they both pictured.
"Wow." The security guard was thoroughly impressed.
"Felix, you remember Jin, right?" The biochemist pointed to one of his partners as he looked closely into a microscope.
"Cookie man!" The blonde beamed.
"You! The guy that held a gun to my face for nearly ten minutes!" Jin smiled.
"Guilty as charged, my apologies."
"You're so much nicer when you're not threatened. So what brings you here?"
"Jin, get the rest of the guys. They're having an issue with the clone." Yoongi said. He nodded and left his station as he went to gather up the crew. "So is it an issue with him? Or something else?"
"Neither of us have seen him, but our partners have." Felix replied. "Apparently it's going extremely well so far."
"That's good to hear. Once I told everyone that Seonghwa was now in possession of the clone, they were hesitant at first."
"Do you know when his memories stop?" San asked. "Meaning, what's the last thing he'll remember."
"I believe it was the tenth of August. That was the last time he came here. We never saw him again after that."
"Which was a week after you went to his bunker." San said to Felix. "That's good, right?"
"It can be looked at as a positive, sure." The blonde nodded.
"Okay, I got everyone." Jin came back with five men behind him. "Meet Jimin, Taehyung, Hobi, Namjoon, and Jungkook."
"Does the name Jeon Wonwoo ring a bell to anyone?" San asked.
Jungkook and Taehyung looked at each other, rolled their eyes, and sighed. They knew exactly who that was.
"He's a member of the Serpent Corps. A highly trained militia who don't know how to mind their own business." Taehyung replied.
"Well, I believe I shot him." Felix said. "We had two SUVs chasing us down earlier and we're pretty sure it has to do with the clone."
San had been pinching the bridge of his nose the second he heard 'Serpent Corps'. He knew exactly who they were. They've been around since he was a kid. His dad would tell him how dangerous the organization was.
"We are so dead." The security guard mumbled.
"You know them?"
"I've heard stories, yeah. How have you never heard of them?"
"The only thing I ever knew about when I was with Black Legion was Seonghwa and Minho."
"Well, Seonghwa and Minho's work is child's play compared to this unfortunately." Yoongi sighed.
"Wait, so do you know everything?"
"Once you're in the game, everyone knows everything." Namjoon replied. "Although, Hongjoong was the best well kept secret in a long time."
