At their shared apartment, Felix laid on the couch and waited for his boyfriend to come home from work. Ever since their chaotic morning, he had a lot on his mind.

"Angel, I'm home." Hyunjin called out as Kkami barked and ran to the front door. "Hey, buddy." He smiled, then made his way to the living room. "You okay?"

"Just come here." Felix sighed, visibly upset.

"What's wrong?" He laid down next to the blonde and maneuvered him to be on top.

"I thought we were done with this stuff."

"Me too."

"Listen, I get that you've been preparing for this, but I just can't let you." He stressed, terrified of losing the man he loved.

"Hey, it's okay." He softly smiled, caressing the blonde's freckled cheek. "This is just science and freaky stuff, not drugs and guns."

"But we don't know that. We don't know anything! Hyunjin, please." He desperately begged. "Can't you just listen to me?"

"I am."

"No, you're not because you're still gonna throw yourself in the middle of this to prove yourself."

"It'll be okay, I promise."

"I can't lose you." The fear in his eyes was almost enough to make Hyunjin give in.

"We don't even know what's going on. This could be completely different from the last time."

"They're taking pictures of us, pretending to be baristas, shoulder checking me on the street, and baiting Seonghwa into a god damn facility that clones human DNA. It doesn't have to be all about violence for it to be dangerous. But all of that sounds like nothing but trouble."

"And you're not curious to find out why?"

"I just wanna be happy with you." Felix held Hyunjin's face in his small hands. "And in order to do that, we both need to be safe."

"I really don't think we have a choice. Neither of us asked for what happened today. We've done nothing but live normal lives for a year. I think we're screwed either way."

The blonde lowered his head into the crook of his boyfriend's neck, ultimately giving up. He realized Hyunjin wasn't entirely wrong. They've kept a low profile for a year, doing everything they could to stay out of trouble. But somehow, it managed to find them anyway.

"What does that mean for us then?"

"What do you mean? We'll be okay, right?"

"I'm talking about what our next move is. I'm not going anywhere, don't worry."

"Good." Hyunjin gave him a light squeeze, worried that wasn't the case.

There was a knock on the door that made the both of them jolt up immediately. Not taking any chances, Felix grabbed his gun and put it in the back of his waistband. He whipped the door open, still on high alert.

"Hi, my name is-"

"What do you want?" He pulled on the man's shirt, bringing him extremely close.

"I...I-" He stuttered in fear.

"Cyber Industries, do you work for them?"

"Felix, what's going on?" Hyunjin rushed to his boyfriend to see what all the commotion was about.

"I'm just a salesman." He panicked. "My name is Jin."

"I'm with you on this one, Lix."

The blonde pulled the man inside and closed the door shut. He had just about enough of weird strangers for a day.
