"I'd slit your throat for this if I could." Yeji groaned, hating what her brother was forcing her to do. "I just don't see how this is fair. For years, we've had an establishment where women make the rules. We are the ones in charge."
"Technically, that's still the case." Hyunjin shrugged with a cocky smile.
"Which is fucked up!"
"Hey now, don't be mad that mom told you that you have to listen to whatever I say. You're lucky that I'm only bringing you to Wooyoung's."
"He's so annoying." She whined, crossing her arms and shaking her head as she stared out the car window.
"He's changed."
"You're such a liar, I know he hasn't."
"At least it's just the five of us and not the rest. Unless you'd want me to invite them."
"Who's the five?"
"Me, you, Wooyoung, his husband, and my boyfriend."
"Are any of them normal?"
"San is a cool guy. Very respectful, very polite. But he means business when it matters."
"Who's San?"
"Wooyoung's husband. My boyfriend is the little blonde, Felix. He doesn't seem all that intimidating, but he can be pretty deadly. He killed one of the members from the Serpent Corps with just a pistol in a moving car."
"Give me a rundown of everyone involved."
"Park Seonghwa: CEO of Park Investments. Kim Hongjoong: clone but also very scary when he's on a rampage. Kang Yeosang-"
"Great." She rolled her eyes.
"I knew it!"
"You don't even know what I'm thinking."
"Winter!"
"How do you know Winter?"
"She's a Red Dragon, right?"
"Answer my question first."
"She works at Park Investments and Yeosang likes her."
"What made you think she was one of us?"
"Because she's a woman." Hyunjin nodded, knowing how stupid that sounded.
"You're such an idiot." She shook her head. "Who else?"
"Jeong Yunho and Jongho are both pro marksmen."
"Yunho?" Yeji mumbled. "As in...Song Mingi's best friend?"
"Yeah, I can't believe you hooked up with him, you weirdo."
"How do you even know that?"
"He told me because he's the other hacker on our team."
"Oh, come on." She whined, already regretting her agreement to help.
"Is girl code a thing in your little club? Because he fucked Karina the other night. Wait, I'm assuming you knew that already since you knew about Yeosang. Oh my god, does this mean Winter likes him too?"
"Shut...up." She grit through her teeth.
"Okay, so you didn't know. Got it." Hyunjin nodded. "Yikes. Anyway, we also have Han Jisung who is a jack of all trades kinda guy, but he likes science. Which leads me to Cyber Industries."
"I know enough. Please, just stop talking. I have a headache."
"Be nice to Felix or I'll cut your hair in your sleep." He parked the car in front of San and Wooyoung's house
