"Wooyoung!"

The leader's eyes immediately shot open, not sure if his mind was playing tricks on him. When he looked at his phone, it was around 3 am. Right when he was about to get out of bed, the door swung open.

"Oh my god." Wooyoung instantly started to tear up as he ran into his husband's arms. "Oh my god, you're okay."

"I'm here, baby, I'm here." San squeezed him tightly, never wanting to let go.

"I knew you weren't dead."

"I felt like I was definitely close to it. That fear gas stuff is no joke."

Wooyoung pulled away and pressed his lips to his husband's, missing how they felt. He wasn't sure if he'd ever be able to do this again.

"I missed you so much, don't do that to me again."

"I love you." San softly smiled, constantly kissing the man he deeply admired.

The couple stood in silence, relaxed in each other's embrace. They knew the chaos wasn't over just yet, but this moment meant the world to them.

"I can't wait for this to be over."

"And here I thought you were having fun."

"You've missed a few things." Wooyoung backed away and took off his shirt to show all the new deep scars scattered across his body. San stared in horror, feeling a pain in his chest. "We came to look for you and Jisung. I'd say it was pretty unsuccessful...kinda."

"Kinda? What happened?"

"Well, Hongjoong got infected by the Datura."

"Oh no." San mumbled, knowing that meant nothing but trouble.

"But he didn't kill any of us, so that was a plus. Speaking of, where's Ji-"

"Still at the base."

"Why?"

"Because he figured out a way to take the rest of them down."

"How?"

"He'll explain when he gets back, I'm sure. He just made sure Yoongi and I got out safe."

"Wait, he's alive?"

"Also in our living room, yes."

Wooyoung took San's hand and led them into the other room to find the biochemist talking to the other couple.

"I just gave them the whole rundown." Yoongi said.

"I didn't, I got distracted." San replied. "I just told him Jisung had a plan."

"Tell me the plan." Wooyoung was eager for this mission to be over for good.

"He created a deadly toxin called Rosax. It's a liquid, so the faster it soaks into your skin, the faster the effect."

"What does it do?"

"It makes your brain explode."

Wooyoung gasped and covered his mouth in shock. "That's brutal. How is he going to use that on the Serpent Corps?"

"Before we left, he poisoned the entire water system in the building. So if anyone even brushes their teeth or washes their hands, they're dead."

"Oh my god, that's genius."

"He also destroyed the other clone." Yoongi sighed.

"What other clone?"

"They wanted me to make a clone of Minho."

Just the mention of his name made Seonghwa wrap his arm around Hongjoong's waist as they silently listened to everything again.

"What the fuck."

"They were going to kill me if I didn't."

"Aren't you worried they'll come find you?" Seonghwa asked.

"Not if Jisung has already taken them out with the Rosax." Yoongi replied.

"How can you be so sure that'll work? Does this mean we'll just stop fighting?"

"I wouldn't stop just yet." Hongjoong chimed in. "We can't be sure unless everyone is accounted for. Do you know how many are left?"

"Twelve. Your team has wiped most of them out."

"So what now?" Wooyoung asked. He wasn't sure what else they could do since San was back home safe and Jisung was in control.

"I guess you could go to work like normal tomorrow and act like things are back to the way they were." He shrugged.

"Do you know who's left?"

"Their leader, Yuta, is still alive. They've basically kept their best men back the entire time because they knew how dangerous you were - especially Hongjoong."

"Great." Wooyoung rolled his eyes. "So we should definitely be prepared at all times."

"I doubt they'd come into Park Investments and kill a bunch of innocent people."

"You never know unfortunately." Hongjoong sighed. "I'll make sure to stay hidden but close. We're gonna need all the manpower we can possibly get. I have a feeling they're about to throw us everything they've got."

"I don't want Hyunjin at the front desk tomorrow." Wooyoung said to the CEO.

"What about Yeosang?" He replied. The leader stayed silent, willing to sacrifice anyone to keep his best friend out of harm's way. "I see."

"I need him safe."

"We'll keep him in my office."

"I'll tell everyone to be prepared." Wooyoung took his phone out and texted everyone the plan. "I'm not kidding, all of this better end if they show up to the office."

"I really think they will." Seonghwa frowned.

"Then at least we'll be ready for them."
