-Naruto POV-
I was sitting in Harumi's shop alone, drinking tea. Because of my introduction, I decided it would be best for me to seperate from the group for this recruitment. I was staying at a separate hotel and everything. As I sat there, a man seemed to appear in front of me, I couldn't see or sense him approaching.
"I heard you were looking for the Kaon, friend." He said in a completely neutral voice.
I nodded. "Yes sir I am. That was quite an impressive entrance, I couldn't see nor sense your approach." I said before sipping my tea.
He nodded. "Thank you, why don't we go talk somewhere more private." He said.
I nodded and followed him out, he led me to an abandoned house on the edge of the village. Inside were tens of shinobi. He took me to the living room where a man was sitting at a table with tea set out. "I've been waiting for you Menma Uzukaze, please sit. I am Azaru Kaon, head of the Kaon." He said.
I nodded and sat across from him. "First sir, I'd like to apologize and make an admission." I said.
He nodded. "Go on." He said.
I bowed respectfully. "I am not Menma Uzukaze and I do have a village affiliation, I just needed to meet with you. Please, hear me out." I said.
He nodded. "I figured as much, it's hard for a shinobi to become a Fuinjutsu master with no affiliation, even an Uzumaki. I will hear you out." He said.
I nodded. "Thank you. I am an ambassador of Konoha, Jonin Naruto Uzumaki. I was sent to extend a hand to the Kaon." I explained.
He stroked the beard of his mask. "Oh?" He asked.
I nodded. "The Hokage would like the Kaon to join Konohagakure as a new clan. Based on the rumors I've heard, I think it would be beneficial for both parties." I said.
"Rumors?" He asked.
I nodded. "I've heard that the Kaon are... less than content with their current nomads situation." I said.
