**Chapter 15: Rainfall of Confessions**

The rain fell in a relentless curtain, each drop a whispered secret between heaven and earth. Sanemi trudged along the cobblestone path, his head bowed, raindrops mingling with the turmoil in his heart. The weight of their roles as Hashira pressed down on him, threatening to crush the fragile hope that had blossomed within.

And then, there he was—Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira. His silhouette emerged from the mist, a mirage of longing and pain. Sanemi's breath hitched; he hadn't expected to see Giyu here, not in this tempest of emotions.

Their eyes locked, and time stretched thin. Sanemi's pulse quickened; the world narrowed to the space between them. Giyu's hair clung to his forehead, raindrops tracing the contours of his face. He moved closer, and Sanemi's chest tightened. Why was Giyu here? What did he want?

Before Sanemi could react, Giyu lunged forward, fingers wrapping around Sanemi's arm. The touch sent a shock through him, awakening dormant desires. "Wait," Giyu rasped, his voice raw. "Just listen."

Sanemi wrenched his arm free, anger flaring. "Listen to what? More empty promises? More half-truths?" His chest tightened, memories of their stolen kiss flooding back—the forbidden taste of Giyu's lips, the fire that had ignited between them.

Giyu's eyes blazed. "This wouldn't be happening if you didn't kiss me that day!" His voice cracked, revealing the pain he'd kept hidden. "You think I wanted this? You think I wanted to be this way?"

Sanemi's anger faltered, replaced by shock. "What are you talking about?"

Giyu's shoulders shook. Rain mingled with tears on his cheeks. "I wish every day that I was normal," he confessed. "That I didn't crave your touch, your warmth. But I can't change who I am."

Sanemi is left surprised by the words Giyu said. He felt bad and even pitied him, he had hurt the person he loved most. He couldn't say anything, His body didn't let any words escape. He sighed

His arms moved from his side raising up to hold giyu ever so slightly. Giyu looked so hurt Sanemi thought. He held him tighter. The pouring rain didn't let up but he didn't care, he just held onto giyu and decided he didn't wanna let him go again.

But the scene shifted, like a flicker of lightning illuminating another corner of their world. Shinobu and Obanai sat in her cozy tea room, steam rising from delicate porcelain cups. The scent of jasmine hung in the air, a fragile comfort.

Shinobu's gaze held Obanai's. "Do you think they made up?" she asked, her voice soft.

Obanai stirred his tea, eyes distant. "Whatever happens," he said, "happens for a reason." His fingers traced the rim of the cup. "I'd like to believe they made up."

Shinobu leaned back, studying him. "And us?" she whispered. "Can we mend what's broken?"

Obanai met her gaze, and for a moment, the rain outside ceased to exist. "Maybe," he said. "Maybe we can find our own redemption."

Shinobu smiled and looked at the haori she wore. It was her sister's. Only way Shinobu feels she can mend her broken heart is to get revenge for her sisyer.

While on the other hand Obanai thought about the girl he loved. Kanaroji Mitsuri. He is sure that she is the girl he wants to marry.

And so, in the quiet room of tea and vulnerability, they sipped their brew,

*Note: I am weaving in Shinobu and Obanai's perspective. Let me know if you'd like further details or if there's anything else you'd like me to add maybe. I know this chapter is short, but my college classes start today so I wrote this last night before going to bed.
