Previous from last chapter:

As the sun climbed higher, Sanemi allowed himself to hope. Maybe this was their chance—a new beginning. Maybe they could be more than demon slayers, more than allies. Maybe they could find solace in each other's arms, even when the nightmares threatened to consume them.

For now, they walked, and the world held its breath. Sanemi stole a glance at Giyu, and Giyu met his eyes. There was no need for words. They understood.

Everything seemed to be back to normal—or maybe even better than before.

Sanemi wandered through the forest, his thoughts drifting to Giyu. Lately, everything seemed to remind him of Giyu. As he walked, he noticed a beautiful blue flower swaying gently in the breeze. It was the same shade as Giyu's haori. He knelt down, staring at the flower, lost in thought.

"Sanemi, what are you doing?" Obanai's voice broke through his reverie.

Sanemi stood up quickly, brushing off his knees. "It's nothing," he replied, a faint smile playing on his lips.

Obanai raised an eyebrow but didn't press further. They continued walking together, the silence between them comfortable. After a while, Obanai spoke again. "So, how's it going? Did you two make up?"

Sanemi's smile widened, and he nodded. "Yeah, we did."

Obanai looked shocked for a moment before turning his head away. "I see. I guess I got my answer."

As they walked, they spotted Mitsuri up ahead. Obanai's expression softened as he approached her, greeting her warmly. Sanemi watched them for a moment, thinking about how perfect they looked together. With a sigh, he turned and made his way to find Giyu.

Giyu was standing on a hill, looking off into the distance, his hair blowing in the wind. Sanemi's heart skipped a beat at the sight. He walked up to Giyu, gently taking his hand and pressing a kiss to it.

Giyu turned to him, a soft smile on his lips. "Sanemi..."

Sanemi squeezed his hand, feeling a sense of peace wash over him. "I just wanted to be with you," he said quietly.

Giyu nodded, leaning into Sanemi's touch. "I'm glad you're here."

Sanemi and Giyu continued talking, their conversation flowing easily. However, Giyu couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen. He voiced his concern, but Sanemi reassured him with a confident smile. "Everything will be fine," he said, squeezing Giyu's hand.

The Hashira were soon called to participate in a special training session to strengthen the Demon Slayer Corps. As part of this, each Hashira was tasked with training the swordsmen under their command.

Tanjiro arrived at Sanemi's house, ready for his training. Sanemi still didn't like him, and his expression showed it. Giyu, noticing the tension, secretly approached Tanjiro to ask how he was doing with the training. Tanjiro appreciated the concern, but Sanemi scoffed, clearly annoyed.

After a while, Sanemi declared, "You're done for today. Go to Gyomei's house next."

Tanjiro nodded and left, leaving Sanemi and Giyu alone. They returned to Sanemi's house, where they shared a pot of tea. The atmosphere lightened, and they found themselves laughing together, the earlier tension forgotten.

Giyu and Tanjiro were having tea together, smiling and enjoying the peaceful moment. Suddenly, Giyu's crow flew over to them in a rush, cawing loudly. "Ubuyashiki family house in trouble! I repeat, Ubuyashiki family house in trouble!"

Both of their eyes widened in shock. They quickly got up and followed the crow, running with worry etched on their faces. As they ran, an explosion echoed through the air, causing them to stop in their tracks, eyes wide and sweating from fear. After a moment of pure shock, they started running again, their hearts pounding.

When they reached the old house, they saw the mansion had been destroyed. Amidst the rubble, they spotted a demon being pierced by multiple objects. It wasn't until Gyomei yelled that they realized it was Muzan Kibutsuji. Tanjiro had already sensed it was him.

All the Hashira quickly prepared to use their breathing techniques, running towards Muzan. Tanjiro yelled, "MUZAN!" Muzan smirked, and suddenly, a door opened beneath them. All the Hashira were confused as they fell into the Infinity Castle.
