Giyu and Sanemi had moved in together, finding solace in each other's company. Every morning, Giyu would make breakfast, and Sanemi would savor his cooking. Occasionally, Sanemi would take over the kitchen, and their time together felt magical. They had their ups and downs, but even when they fought, they would always make up, often cuddling while Sanemi played with Giyu's hair.

One morning, Sanemi was folding laundry while Giyu cooked lunch. Their conversation flowed naturally.

"After lunch, we need to head down and see the Kamados," Giyu said as he stirred the pot.

Sanemi kept folding. "Alright. Don't forget the present you have for Nezuko again," he reminded.

"Oh, you're right," Giyu said, walking off to their bedroom. He grabbed the small box he had prepared for Nezuko and set it on the table to avoid forgetting it. Then, he returned to the kitchen. "The food's almost done. Would you mind setting the table for me?" Giyu asked.

Sanemi finished folding the clothes and started setting the table. Soon after, Giyu finished cooking, and they sat down to eat.

"How was your day?" Sanemi asked between bites.

"It was good," Giyu replied with a small smile.

After they finished eating, Giyu grabbed the present, and they made their way to where Tanjiro and Nezuko were staying. Giyu knocked on the door, and Nezuko opened it with a bright smile.

"Tomioka-san!" she greeted happily.

Giyu handed her the present. "Oh? I said this last time, but you don't need to keep bringing me presents," she said, smiling at the pretty pendant inside the box.

"I just want to show my gratitude for you fixing my haori," Giyu explained as they both sat down at the table.

Shortly after, Tanjiro came in, smiling warmly at the sight of Giyu and Sanemi. "It's good to see you both," he said, joining them.

The group spent the afternoon talking and laughing, enjoying the peace they had fought so hard to achieve. The bonds they shared were stronger than ever, and they knew that no matter what the future held, they would face it together, as a family.

As the months flew by, Sanemi and Giyu spent all their time together, celebrating holidays and cherishing each moment. A few years later, they were still together, now both 24 years old. Their routine continued: Giyu cooked breakfast while Sanemi folded clothes and set the table. After eating, they would visit Tanjiro and Nezuko, sometimes Zenitsu and Inosuke, or see Urokodaki.

In January, Giyu fell extremely ill, just a month before his 25th birthday. Sanemi took over all the household chores. Every morning, he made broth or soup for Giyu, helping him sit up and feeding him. Sanemi knew deep down that Giyu's time was limited, but he tried to stay positive for him.
