Note: I'm sorry this took too long. A lot of dialogue and descriptions. I think I might've overhyped this one😔😭
This is quite a longer chapter. I hope you like it. Comments are encouraged <3

Taylor made it.
She walked in, seemingly out of place and completely lost. She's wearing something short and silky black, something Versace. Strappy red heels matching her lips and boosting her by a few inches.
All Travis knows is that Taylor in Versace is lethal.
"Taylor Swift?"
"What? Where?"
"Taylor? Oh my god..."
"What's she doing here?"
The staring and murmuring began, the crowd parting with every hesitant step she took, looking around until their eyes met from opposite sides of the room.
With an encouraging squeeze on his shoulder from Pat, Travis finally moved.
Taylor stays right where she is while he walks up to her. Their gazes don't stray away from each other, it's almost impossible to look anywhere else. It didn't matter that people stared and talked.
In that moment, Travis couldn't believe it.
"You made it," He started in an airy voice like he couldn't quite believe she's real. "I wasn't expecting you'd go."
"I'm not always in KC. I could use some time off in my hotel room." She shrugged before looking behind his shoulder consciously. "I hope I didn't take too long. Did I arrive too late?"
"No, you're all good. We're just chilling. Come on, I'll introduce you to some of my buddies." Too caught up in between different fleeting emotions, he placed his hand on the small of her back to guide her.
Making their way towards the quarterback who has been watching the whole exchange with the rest, the tension moves thickly in the air, the evident shock from everyone blanketing over them as Taylor obviously pretended that she doesn't feel the eyes on her—on them.
Well, if she had no problem with their surroundings, he isn't going to have a problem about it either.
Travis proceeds like normal.
"Taylor, this is Patrick. He plays the quarterback for our team. And that's his wife, Brittany." He introduces first. "I also came with them to your show."
Taylor extended her arm, excitedly shaking their hands and introducing herself like she often does despite her studded reputation. Naturally, Pat and Brit had the sense to go along with it. Travis could tell she silently appreciated the normalcy.
"Your show was absolutely incredible, Taylor. Pat and I danced to Wildest Dreams at our wedding." Brit revealed happily, much to the popstar's delight. "It was amazing to hear live."
"Thank you so much. That's so sweet! I love that. I'm glad the song holds sentimental value for you." Taylor chirped happily. Then she cranes her neck in his direction. "Travis, why didn't you bring them with you before the show?"
He shrugged. "I didn't want to push my luck. I was almost not allowed in."
"Oh... Right. I almost forgot," Taylor smiled sheepishly. "Forgive my dad. He's gotten a bit protective since the Jets quarterback tried hitting on me."
Both football players share a knowing look before Pat stepped in. "Wait. You mean Aaron Rodgers? Mustache. Crazy eyes. He was hitting on you?"
She blushed in slight embarrassment.
