The golden hues of the setting sun cast a warm glow over the park, transforming it into a picturesque setting. The gentle rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds created a serene atmosphere. Y/N had agreed to meet Louis at the park, where he had suggested they take a stroll and enjoy the beautiful evening.

Louis had been planning this moment for weeks. He wanted it to be a grand gesture, a declaration of his love and commitment to Y/N. He had picked out a stunning engagement ring and had carefully chosen the spot in the park where he would ask the most important question of his life. He hoped that this proposal would be a romantic and memorable event, not only for Y/N but also as a way to make a statement.

As Y/N and Louis walked hand in hand through the park, Louis's excitement grew. He led her to a secluded spot near a small pond, where a table was set with candles and rose petals scattered around. The setting was enchanting, and Y/N was touched by the effort Louis had put into creating such a romantic atmosphere.

"Y/N," Louis began, his voice trembling slightly with emotion, "I've been thinking about this moment for a long time. I can't imagine my life without you. You're my everything, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

He dropped to one knee, pulling out the velvet box with the engagement ring inside. The ring sparkled in the fading sunlight as Louis looked up at Y/N with hopeful eyes.

"Will you marry me?"

Taehyung had been in the park with his friends, taking a walk to clear his mind. He had been trying hard to move on and accept the reality of his situation, but seeing Y/N with Louis always stirred up painful emotions. As he and his friends—Jungkook and Jimin—strolled through the park, they saw Y/N and Louis in the distance.

When they noticed the romantic setup and the proposal taking place, Taehyung's heart sank. He felt a sharp pang of jealousy and heartache, knowing that Y/N was about to make a life-changing decision with someone else. His emotions were a whirlwind of anger, sadness, and regret.

Y/N looked down at the engagement ring, her mind racing. She had been trying to move forward and find happiness, but this proposal from Louis, while heartfelt, was not what she wanted. Her heart was still healing, and she couldn't accept the proposal just yet.

"I... I need some time to think," Y/N said, her voice trembling. She felt overwhelmed by the situation and the eyes of Taehyung and his friends on her. She glanced over at them and saw Taehyung's hurt expression, which only made her feel more conflicted.

Without another word, Y/N turned and walked away from the proposal setup. Her footsteps were quick and determined as she left the park, needing space to process her emotions.

Jungkook and Jimin, having witnessed the entire proposal and Y/N's hasty departure, couldn't help but react to the situation with their characteristic humor and banter.

As they approached Louis, who was still kneeling with the ring in hand, Jungkook and Jimin exchanged amused glances.

Jungkook and Jimin stared laughing

"Nice try, Louis," Jungkook said with a smirk. "But I think you might have missed the mark on this one."

Jimin chuckled and added, "Yeah, man, maybe you should've asked her when she wasn't already running away. That's quite the timing you've got there."

Louis stood up, his face flushed with embarrassment and frustration. He had hoped for a romantic, joyous moment but instead found himself the target of playful mockery from Taehyung's friends.

Taehyung stood at a distance, watching the scene unfold with a heavy heart. Seeing Y/N reject Louis's proposal and walk away was a painful reminder of what he had lost. The sight of her walking away, not only from Louis but also from him, was like a dagger to his heart. He felt an intense mix of sadness and longing.

Taehyung's friends, recognizing his distress, tried to offer words of comfort. "You okay, Tae?" Jungkook asked, noticing the pained expression on Taehyung's face.

Taehyung shook his head, his eyes filled with unshed tears. "No, I'm not okay. I just... I thought I had moved on, but seeing her with someone else, seeing her hurt like that—it's tearing me apart."

Later that evening, after Louis had left the park, Taehyung and his friends sat down to talk. Jungkook and Jimin offered their support, listening as Taehyung poured out his feelings.

"I didn't expect this to be so hard," Taehyung admitted, his voice breaking. "I thought I could handle seeing her with someone else, but it's crushing me."

Jungkook put a comforting hand on Taehyung's shoulder. "It's okay to feel this way. It's natural to be hurt. But remember, you can't force things to go back to the way they were. You need to take care of yourself and give yourself time to heal."

Jimin nodded in agreement. "And who knows? Maybe this is a chance for you to reflect and find out what you truly want moving forward. Don't lose hope."
