"That is no way to treat a lady."

Rory's eyes went completely wild. Her heart started beating like it was gonna burst out of her chest.

It was definitely Isac's voice. He's the only one she knows with a voice so deep it's like listening to an angel.

"Especially not my lady." He added, putting an arm on Rory's shoulder.

"Who the fu** are you?!" Charlie scowled as he glared at the man.

"Didn't she tell you?" He chuckled and grinned again. "I'm her boyfriend." He stated rather proudly and Charlie's face looked furious.

"You!" He scoffed and then looked down at Rory. "I didn't think you're the type to date a wimp!" He said to her and the guy definitely did not like how he was called.

His eyebrows twitched and his smile faded. For some reason. Watching his expression changing felt eerie for Luther and he wanted to pull Charlie. Unfortunately, he's also scared of him.

"Don't call me a wimp you don't know me." He said in a cold tone. Making Charlie to look at him.

"I'll call you whatever I want. Now fu** off unless you want me to teach you a lesson too!" He warns and tries to grab Rory by her wrist but the guy is quick to swat his hand away.

"I do not like it when assholes touch what is mine." The guy stated firmly as he gently moved Rory behind him.

He turned around to face the other three that has been standing behind him since they arrived.

Rory was beyond flabbergasted. It was Adam, Emil, and Kali. They all looked serious but more importantly. They're all okay and don't look anywhere near being hurt.

"Stay with them." He whispered to Rory before he turned back to Charlie.

"Ah! I recognize these faces! So you--"

"No no! Don't look at them, look at me!" He immediately cuts Charlie off and blocks his gaze on looking at the other four.

"From now on, you're not gonna look at my girl like she's one of you."

"Don't touch her."

"Don't talk to her."

"Don't even think about her."

"Well I'm thinking of her now! I'm not sure if your pretty little girlfriend mentioned but she and I are playing a game." Charlie chuckled as she stood face to face with the killer.

The guy's expression remained still for a few seconds. Then it changed.

"I love games!" He suddenly smiled and Charlie finally felt the chills. Taking a step back with a frown.

"Why don't you play with me instead. I assure you, it'll be fun." The guy added and suddenly slipped out a creepy giggle.

"See you around. Charlie." He said again before turning around.

He grabbed Rory by her hand and started walking first. The other three tagging along and leaving Charlie and Luther in the hallway.

"That guy is a creep. Who the hell is he?!" Charlie grumbles as he starts walking the other way with a furious expression.

"Tell me about it. He's making me feel chills." Luther unconsciously said and even if he doesn't say it out loud, that guy's smile will hunt him wherever he goes.

"Since when did you get back?" Rory couldn't help to ask almost right away after they arrived in the library.

She wanted to cry, but for some reason she couldn't. She couldn't explain how she feels at the moment. Except maybe being relieved that Kali and the boys are safe and alive.

"2 weeks ago." He replied while still staring at the girl.

He had no expression on his face. He just kept staring while caressing her hand.

"And..." Rory clears her throat and briefly looks at the other three before looking back at him. "A-are you Isac right now?" She asked almost inaudibly.

"Yes." Isac finally smiled at her, breathing in what seemed like relief.

Hearing his answer finally made Rory break. She starts crying and hugs him tightly. Isac misses her so much, he would have kissed her breathless the moment he saw her if it wasn't for Charlie who pissed him off.

"I'm glad you're back together." Adam said to them.

Rory pulled back from the hug and then turned to the three.

"I was talking to you the other day. Then it got cut off. When I went to your place, you weren't there." She said and the three exchanged looks before looking at Isac.

Rory looks at him and her heart raced seeing how his soft expression slowly morphed into a serious one. The same expression Johann uses whenever he's stoic.

"We met again, Rory." He said and smiled wickedly. "I kept my promise, didn't I?"

"What did you do? Where did you take your friends?" She asked, her expression growing serious as she observed Johann even with the little movements he make.

"It's fine. He didn't hurt us." Emil butts in to get her attention. "Johann knew you'd come right away so we decided to hide for a while." The latter explained.

"And you couldn't find the time to let me know?! I was fu**ing worried!" Rory suddenly exclaimed.

The others cautiously looked around but luckily there's only a few librarians there and far from their seats. So they didn't hear her raising her voice.

"I had to tell Kyla everything! She almost called the cops!" Rory added.

"I threatened them not to. How will I surprise you if you find out sooner." Johann said in a grumpy tone while his brows started twitching.

"I'm sorry, Rory. We didn't mean to hide it from you." Kali says and grabs her hands. "But we're completely okay. Johann popped out of nowhere, and he was hurt." She adds.

Rory's frown slowly turns into a glare as she looks at Johann again.

"You killed someone again?" She asked with furrowed brows while her voice growing a little quiet.

Johann only snickers and looks away. "You'll thank me for it." He said and suddenly smiled wickedly.

His answer only made Rory more confused. Adam on the other hand clears his throat and figures to give the two the time they need so they can talk.

"We'll get going. Our shifts are about to start too." He said as he stood up with Emil and Kali.

The three apologized again to Rory for hiding from her. They didn't stay longer and left to start their shifts.

As soon as it was just the two of them.

"Follow me." Rory said with a cold tone as she gathered her books.

Johann quietly followed her until they made it to the old music room.

The old music room is filled with old instruments that are either broken or not being used. The place is also soundproof and it has mirrors like a dance studio.

"Now talk!"

"And you better not lie to my face!"
