The Psychopath from the Church

Johann stared at the girl for a few minutes. He was quiet but at the back of his mind, he and Isac are already arguing because Isac didn't want Rory to know.

"Well?" Rory grumbles and crosses her arm on her chest. Glaring at Johann and it almost feels like she's undressing him with her gaze.

Johann then turned his head to the mirror, seeing his own reflection.

"Let's just tell her. You're being a bloody coward!" He said then his expression changed a bit but he still looks serious.

"No. It's better that she doesn't know."

"She can hear us talk!"

"This is for your own safety, Rory."

"That was not fu**ing safe! Why else would we kill him!?"

Rory's amused face immediately contorted to a frown. "Wait! We? What are you talking about?" She asked again.

As much as she is amused to see them talking to each other. She wanted to know what happened. Especially how Isac came back.

"Don't!" Isac warns himself but Johann's grin was the only response he received.

It looks rather weird and creepy watching him because he has two persona in one body. One moment, he's smiling then like a blip he's suddenly glaring with his murderous gaze.

Johann then turned to Rory. Ignoring Isac's warning.

"You were fucking wasted. I mean, I would've at least beaten up his friends for letting you go home but he's too weak hearted for it."

"That driver from the cab! He drove you somewhere in the city. Had I not been tracking you, that asshole would've raped you along with his friends!"

"I would've enjoyed killing them myself!"

"But your boyfriend was so angry he took over me! And when I woke up, the bloody idiot got himself stabbed! I never would've let that happen!"

Rory was beyond shocked. Everything he said is news.

"First of all! I am not that bloody wasted! Second! Adam and Emil were so drunk Kali and to drag their asses! And--"

"Please! If you're not wasted you wouldn't be singing Beyonce like a broken hearted bit**! Plus you passed out! Why do you think it's so easy for that asshole to take you away!?" Johann snapped, his expression becoming rather angrier.

Rory understands where he's coming from. But she couldn't get it to her kind about Isac doing the actual killing. It would've made sense if it was only Johann who did it, he wouldn't let himself get hurt either.

But Isac killing those people who tried to harm her... It doesn't sound like him...

"Let me talk to Isac." She said in a calmer tone.

Rory thought Johann would refuse or say something to piss her off. But he listened. His expression softened and it was now Isac facing her with shame.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know what came over me..."

"Where have you been? Will it really take me to be in danger for you to come back?" She asks while Isac lifts his head to look her in the eye.

"I gave Johann the thing he wanted the most. Control. Because I thought I was gonna die there."

"I didn't think that he'd manage to break free. While I was somewhere in the void. Waiting to cease to exist."

"I couldn't hear anything. And for once I liked that silence."

"Until I heard you."

"I didn't know why you singing like that called me back. But I missed your voice. Johann didn't even know I had been listening the entire time."

"He has been keeping a close distance with you ever since he got to the city. He was following you that night and when we figured out what was happening..."

"My mind just went blank. I didn't even realize I had a weapon in my hand until I was beating a man. I couldn't stop until I saw him bleeding."

"I couldn't think of anything else except wanting them dead. For trying to touch you. You were so wasted you couldn't even hear them screaming."

"But I don't regret what I did. Or getting hurt for it."

Rory had no idea what to say. In fact, it doesn't make her angry that Isac killed someone because it was not the first for his hands. Although maybe in his persona, it is.

"I'm not angry, Isac. Thank you for protecting me. But I need you to promise that you're not gonna do it again."

"I promise." Isac said almost right away. Fidgeting with his fingers.

"I'm just glad you're back!" Rory said and finally smiled at him.

She didn't see any other reason to hold back anymore. So Rory was the first to move forward.

Grabbing him by the collar of his shirt and pushing him to sit on one of the old bean bags.

Rory sat on his lap and immediately leaned in for a hungry kiss. She kissed Isac in a fast pace  he could barely keep up.

It felt new for him because they never had a passionate kiss before. It was Johann who kissed her roughly before actually trying to kill her.
