"That's the necklace I gave you, right?" Kyla asked as she eyed the necklace Rory was wearing.

Rory stops eating and looked at her with a confused face. Then she slowly tapped her neck, finally realizing she was wearing a necklace.

She immediately takes it off and her heart stops seeing the pendant.

"H-how..." Rory muttered as she suddenly felt cold.

She stared hard on the necklace as if it was gonna move if she looked away.

"I thought you're never gonna wear it after I gave it to you as your birthday gift." Kyla chuckled and then turned her attention back to the book.

Rory can never be wrong. The swan pendant on the necklace is on the same necklace that Johann snatched from her the last time they spoke.

He promised he would make Isac bring it back to her.

She scanned it carefully in case it's only just a coincidence that she's wearing a similar necklace because of magic. But the dried blood staining on a few parts of the necklace confirms it is the same accessory that Johann took. Because his hands were covered with blood when he grabbed the necklace.

Rory suddenly stood up surprising Kyla in the process.

"W-what's wrong?" Kyla asked and felt worried when she saw the look on her face.

Rory immediately bolted back to her room to grab her phone. She immediately dialed Kali's phone but she wasn't responding so she called Adam right away.

"Hello?"

"Adam?! Did you notice anything strange from last night? Like? Have you found anything about Johann?" She asked frantically just as when Kyla entered her room with a totally confused and worried expression.

"Rory, is something wrong? You don't look okay." She asked but the girl didn't answer.

"Emil and I have been looking into it. But we're not getting anything." He answered. "Why? Did he show up to you?"

Rory looks down in the necklace on her hand. Breathing shakily.

"I-I think he did... I'm wearing the same necklace he took from me... I didn't even know." She said in a quiet voice as tears slowly coated her eyes.

"Sh*t! Okay! I'll let Emil know right away. We'll look into it. I'll update you if we find some---"

Beep beep beep...

Rory suddenly felt her heart froze when the call suddenly ended just like that. She suddenly felt her heart thumping heavily.

It got worse when Adam did not respond to her call anymore. Neither does Emil or Kali.

"Can you tell me what's going on? What was that about?" Kyla questions as she tailed Rory who was suddenly walking to her own room.

"I need you to take me somewhere." Rory said to her as she grabbed Kyla's keys from her desk.

"No sh*t! I'm not driving you anywhere unless you tell me what's going on!" Kyla snaps at her and Rory becomes frustrated.

"Can't you just pass with the questions for now?! We need to hurry!" Rory exclaimed and tried to drag her sister to the garage but Kyla kept firm.

She wanted to know what was happening with her sister.

"Fine! Just take me to my friends and I'll tell you everything on the way!" Rory finally gave up and finally Kyla let her sister drag her to her car.
