Last night Angie offered Qhawe one of the guest rooms. I can't she invited him here. I feel so betrayed because I wanted to stay away from him but my sister went ahead and invited him for her own selfish reasons. I don't even understand how he made it to London in less than 11 hours. It's very clear he didn't use a plane. Is this the kind of life I want to live? No.

I told my mom the truth about Qhawe so I don't know how she's going to react upon seeing him. Angie just thought about herself and no one else.

"Wakey! Wakey!" She walks into my room and opens the blinds so that there can be light inside.

"Angie I don't wanna see you." I cover myself with the blanket. I hear her moving towards the bed and then sitting on it.

"Addy why are you behaving as if I committed a crime? Qhawe is the father of your child. You can't be angry at him forever." The nerve? I get out of the covers to give her a piece of my mind.

"The father of my child? Are you seriously going there? We all know you want to use him to protect yourself from Nathan. Isn't Nathan the father of your children?"

"Addy these things are different..."

"Different how? Explain to me like I'm a five-year-old."

"Qhawe is not planning on keeping your child away from you, but Nathan is. I'm a mother now Addy. I need to put my children's safety first." She's justifying her actions and it's sickening.

"By putting mine in danger? I don't want that snake anywhere near my child." I get out of bed.

"Am I the snake perhaps?" I hear Qhawe's voice from the door. He gets in and closes the door.

I walk to the bathroom and lock it from inside. I walk to the mirror to stare at my reflection. I don't know the person I've become. Everything is moving so quickly.

I wash my face and brush my teeth before taking a deep breath and bracing what's behind the door as I open it. Qhawe is sitting on the bed. My traitor sister is nowhere to be seen.

"Qhawe can you just leave?" I'm tired of fighting. I'm fighting everyone in my life. When was the last time I went out with my friends for drinks?

"Not until you hear me out."

"Hear what out? You're a snake." I pace around the room not wanting to sit down with him.

"I am a snake but I'm cursed." He finally says. I stare at him to find him still sitting down on the bed staring at me with raw emotions. He looks vulnerable but I'm not falling for that.

"Cursed? You're lying. I've been researching. The Elephants are rumored to be snakes and I saw you with my own two eyes."

"We are humans who just can transform into snakes except for me. I can't transform at least painlessly. "

"But-"

"What you've seen is something that happens once in a full moon. I can't control it. I can transform but it's painful and I'll have to wait for months before transforming again."

"Why are you telling me? I hate you because you're a snake." He stands up and unfolds my arms.

"I'm still the same guy you fell in love with, I'm still Azibo's dad but most importantly I'm still the guy who wants to kiss you right now." Without any warning, he pulls me by my waist and smashes his lips on mine.

Don't blame me for kissing him back with the same pace, I'm a pregnant woman and our feelings are all over the place. I can't believe I haven't heard sex in six months. There are already cobwebs down there. As much as I would appreciate being dicknified by this snake, this is still my parents' house. I need to respect them at least so I push him off me.

"We can't have sex here. You missed your chance in London." He just laughs at me like I cracked a joke.

"I missed you. Does that mean you've forgiven me?" I give him a dead glare.

"You haven't earned your apology yet." Does he think making my lips a little swollen will earn him an apology from me?

"I have a surprise for you."

"As long as it's not a necklace, a dress, flowers-"

"It's none of those. Just take a bath and we'll be ready to go." I ran to the door first to lock it. I don't want my mom to walk inside and find him.

"What was that for?" He smirks. He's always behaving like I want to hide him.

"Who else knows you're here apart from Angie and I?"

"No one." He shakes his head.

"Good because you're going to use your snake abilities to slither your way out of here. There's the window." I show him the window to my bedroom.

"As much as that is interesting, I can't. My 'snake abilities' depleted remember?"

"Oh, you find this funny? Wait till I push you from a double-storey building. I'm going to bathe, when I come back you better be gone." I walk to the bathroom to take a bath.

Remind me to never sneak out an old man. What a job it was. Now I've become a passenger princess in my car being driven to God knows where. We had to Uber-ish to my house to fetch my car since Qhawe didn't bring his but it will be shipped here soon. Talk about a soft life. No matter how I grew up or who my parents are, I can never ship a car anywhere. That just sounds too expensive.

We stop in front of a big black gate. Qhawe takes out a remote and presses on it before the gate slides open. He drives inside the property and I look around. There are lots of flowers here and the landscaper has done a very good job here.

A white woman walks out of the house as Qhawe parks the car.

"Who stays here?" I ask out of curiosity. He didn't mention us visiting anyone.

"I'll tell you. Now let's go." I follow him out of the car. I'm tired and hungry.

"Mr Elephant, welcome." The woman probably in her early forties greets him.

"Hi ma'am, this is my woman, Adelaide. Baby this is the Mrs Smith, the estate agent," He introduces us.

After the formalities, we walk inside the house. Qhawe tells me that it's his property that he had bought a year ago after it was sold at auction.

"Don't tell me we are going to stay here?" The house is beautiful but I want to stay in London.

"I'm going to stay here for a while before we leave." He walks to the kitchen and takes out a bottle of wine.

"Leave to where?" I follow him to the kitchen while snatching the bottle of wine away. "If I can't drink so can't you, Azibo's dad."

"Fine. I thought my mother told you about giving birth at the Elephant Kingdom?" A kingdom full of snakes? I'm dreading that decision.

"My parents will never agree." It's not like I'm lying. My mom will never let me give birth anywhere as long as she's not there.

"I'll convince them. What do you want to eat?" He opens the cupboard and takes out cereals.

"I want to eat steak and dumplings with hot wings and an avocado salad." That's a lie. I don't get cravings but he doesn't have to know. I'm not eating plain cereal when I'm this hungry.

"Where am I gonna get those?" Why is he asking me?

"It's what Azibo wants. Where's my surprise by the way?" I hop on the kitchen chairs.

"It's on the way. Let me order food." He takes out his phone and walks out.

A minute later a young woman walks in. She doesn't look older than me. She's holding a little girl's hand.

"Hi. I'm Khensani but you can call me Inaya." She extends her well-manicured hand.

And then?
