I'm looking into his little eyes, and I see my whole world in them. He's so innocent, and I feel like just by touching him,I'm tainting him, but I can't help not holding him. It has only been day two, but he's been sleeping on my chest. It's hard not to be around him.

"Qhawe, when are we leaving for South Africa?" Adelaide asks. It's only fair that she would want to leave. This is not her home, and I'm not going to keep her here against her own will.

"How about tomorrow?" She smiles.

"Thank God,now you can put him down. You've been holding him for an hour now." I didn't know she was counting.

"I'm a dad,my priorities changed." I kiss his little forehead before putting him back in his cot.

"Hubby,I've been meaning to ask you something." She says, and I sit by her on the bed.

"What?" I brush the hairs off her face. Her wig is all looking messy, but she still looks like the most gorgeous woman I've ever met.

"Our wedding location was a secret, but my sister knew about it. How?" Oh yeah,he sister. From the time I met Adelaide, I knew that her sister was no more. I knew her but not personally, and now it came as a shock to everyone that she's alive.

"Our wedding planner was a friend of yours,Unathi Mhlongo. I think she's your sister's sister-in-law?"

"Una knew Addy was alive? What a conniving bítch. The Mhlongo siblings are poisonous. I don't know why Asante loves them. You should have asked me first before making her our wedding planner. I know of a few who could have done a better job," She's seething. Adelaide has a way of holding grudges, and believe me when I say, when she hates you,she makes sure you know.

"Did she tell you anything about where she has been all these years?" She shakes her head.

"Pass me the phone." I take her phone from the med table and hand it to her. She aggressively types on it.

"Who are you texting?" Knowing her, she's probably starting another war with someone.

"My dad. I want to tell him about how Nkosinathi kidnapped Asante."

"But you're not sure about what happened. Is it wise to assume the worst? And a text message is not an appropriate way to tell your parents that your sister is still alive,"

"I don't care. If I'm this angry, then imagine what my dad would be feeling after reading my text. Let me switch off the phone." She switches it off and places it by her side on the bed.

"I think you should not involve yourself in this matter until your sister says something." Her sister just came back, they should reconcile, not fight. I've seen how much she missed her all those times. She would always say something like,'Asa would have done this...Asa would have said this'. She never stopped talking about her, and I think she's so blessed that she got an opportunity to meet her sister, whom everyone thought was dead.

"How can I not involve myself? I mourned for my sister and even cried when Asenathi kept telling me how she wished she had a mother. She's five Qhawe, five, and she had to grow up without a mother while her dad hid her? Nkosinathi doesn't deserve them. If it was up to me,he would stay far from them. I hope my dad doesn't disappoint me."

The door opens up, and a woman walks in. By her uniform, she's one of the women working around the palace.

"Your Highness, the birth certificate of the little prince has arrived. Your mother made sure it came as soon as possible." She hands it to me while bowing and not staring into my eyes. I love respect and being respected. I love feasting on people's fear, but I can never grasp the concept of me being of royalty. Out there, I'm just Qhawe Elephant, but here I'm the respected Prince Qhawe Elephant.
