"I have an upcoming event sa Bamban, do you wanna show up ba, mahal?" I asked Alice as i continued on slicing the steak.
I really want her to show up to her beloved Bamban, her beloved people. I want her to feel no fear showing up, i'm still encouraging her to show up in the senate. Ang hirap mong ipagtanggol, Alice.

"Sure, i guess, biglain ko sila. Miss na siguro nila ako, kaya biglain ko na silang lahat. What if magpagupit ak-"

"No. Hindi ka magpapagupit, mahal. Your hair is too precious to be cut off."

"Nagsalita 'yung cinut off ako sa hearing."

I paused at that moment. Hala. Na realtalk ampot- jokez!

"Well, sorry i guess. I mean, that time, hindi pa ako obsessed and inlove with you. Probably nung second week after the hearing, dun ko narealize lahat."

"Pati mga bata, napansin eh ano?"

"Masyado kasi akong halata. Una, nakita nilang wallpaper kita sa isang kong phone. Pangalawa, nahanap nila mga.. letters ko sayo.
Pangatlo, nahanap din nila mga polaroid mong tinatago ko."

I saw how Alice smiled brightly so i stood up and went to her side and hugged her tightly.
"I love you, mahal."

"Wala tayong label."

"Edi lagyan natin.."

"How?"

I took something out from my pocket, a mini box and handed it to her.
"Ano 'to?"

"Buksan mo."

When Alice opened the box, again, the four kids barged in. Nanaman.
"BAKIT HINDI KAMI INVITED SA PROPOSAL?!"

"ILANG MONTHS NA 'YUNG BATA?!"

"ASAN ANG SINGSING?!"

"Mama's turning to a rizzler ahh woman."

"Shut up Kiko!"

"ok."

We both just stared at them as they speak, i held Alice by the shoulder and kissed her forehead.
"It's not yet a proposal, chill. It's a promise ring, not an engagement ring."

"Luh andaya!"

"Kala ko magiging Hontiveros na si Tita Alice.."

"Ay wala pa palang kapatid, okay."

"Are you turning to a rizzler ma- ARAY KO!"
Kiko said as Issa pinched her by the shoulder.
"IKAW KANINA KAPA KIKO HA! I C-CONFISCATE KO TALAGA SELPON MO!"

'Yan kasi Kiko, rizzler pa?!
Manang mana ka sa Tita Alice mo, Issa. Nangungurot.

"Geez sorry!"

"Mukha mo!"

"Mukha ko?"

"Ay hindi mukha ni mama."

"Mukha ni mama??"

"AY HINDI MUKHA NI IN HEAT!"

"Mukha ni in heat?"

"Hey hey, tama na 'yan. Baka saan pa mapunta 'yan. Settle down na."

As they sat down to the dining table, they all looked at me like i have a questionable background. Ay.
"Ano ma? Magtititigan nalang?"
