We all stood outside in our gi's getting ready our weapons. Jay had nunchucks, Cole a scythe, Zane shurikens, Kai a sword and Lloyd two golden katanas.

Zane told me I could pick out every weapon I wanted to from the weapons room, I chose a set of shining silver daggers.
"Can you work with those?" He asked me, "I think so, when I was younger me and my best friend practiced with these often." I had answered him, thinking about the better times in my childhood.

"Alright y/n, if you're so confident. Try to hit that bird!" Jake said pointing at a small black bird sitting in the tree ahead of the two children.
"Bet." The girl said smiling, completely sure she could hit the bird. She spinned the dagger in her hand, stepped back and pointed it at the bird. With one eye closed she threw the small dagger, hoping for it to hit the target.
But it didn't, the bird had ducked and the dagger flew just over its head. The dagger flew through a window of the house behind the tree, causing the glass to break.
The two best friends heard an angry older lady yelling and started laughing while they ran away as fast as possible. That was the last time they'd seen that dagger.

She relived that memory in her mind while fidgeting with the two daggers in her hands.

"Alright we're ready." Cole said crossing his arms looking at me.
I smiled and looked at each of the guys for a second, teleporting us just outside of Ninjago city. I smiled at myself knowing it went flawless.

We put our masks over our heads and started looking around the city.
We split up in three groups, me and Kai, Lloyd and Jay, Zane and Cole.
We could communicate trough small comms Zane and Nya designed, with a little help of Pixal.

Me and Kai jumped from roof to roof, while the other stayed on the ground.
"Look mommy it's the ninja!" I heard a voice saying from behind and looked down to two little boys standing there with their moms.
I stopped for a moment and waved at them, then quickly running after Kai.
"Is that a new ninja?" I heard one of the voices say, but they slowly faded away as I and Kai keeped moving forward.

"Remember, look for groups of people in suits. The suspects disguise themselves as business people." I heard Zane's voice in my ear.
"Since when is misdoing happening in style?" I heard Jay reply making me laugh.

I grabbed Kai's arm and held him back, pointing at the ground beneath us. In front of the Ninjago museum of history I spotted a group of men in black suits, nervously looking around.
"We found them guys, at the entrance of the museum." I spoke holding the comm.

"Copy that!" Cole replied.
Me and Kai lowered ourselves sliding down from the drainpipe of the building we were on, slowly coming closer to the people standing in front of the museum.

"Try to get as close as possible, see if you hear anything. We'll be watching from a distance." I heard Lloyd's voice tell me while me and Kai hid behind one of the pillars of the building.

"Remember what boss wanted, convince dr. Sander Saunders to let us host a ball during the exhibition." One of the guys said, he had black hair and was very tall.
Me and Kai looked at each other in confusion, he updated the rest trough the comms while I took a better look.

I counted seven men standing there, waiting in front of the doors. The tall one with the black hair, who seemed to be the one in control.
Two blonde guys, that looked exactly the same. A short ginger one, who almost caught me looking over at them. Then the remaining three were brunette, two of them tall and the other seemed a little bit big in width.

"They're with seven." I notified the comms when I suddenly heard Kai behind me. "I think you missed these four." He spoke and I turned around, seeing him fighting four men in suits.
He kicked the one on his left turning his back to the others, I saw the one on his right getting ready to hit him.

I quickly got us out of there, teleported back to the rooftop we were before.
Kay lied down letting out a sigh of relief, "that was close." Kai said.
"We need to be more careful." I told him and I looked down at the museum.

I saw the total of eleven men standing in front of the opening doors, those men who've attacked us must've joined the rest of their group.
I spotted an old men with a long grey beard standing in front of the door.

"Who's that guy?" I asked looking over at Kai who came over to sit next to me. "That's Dr. Saunders, he's the manager of the museum. That's who they must be after." Kai said looking down. I wondered what they would need from the museum, they seemed to be planning on hosting a ball?

Dr. Saunders seemed to be mouthing a short sentence and signed the men to come inside, holding the doors open for them.
The man with the black hair shook his hand and walked inside.

"Me and Kai were seen, have you guys found anything." I asked in the comm. "Not really, we'll be with you in a minute." Zane answered, in less than a minute all the ninja stood together on the roof.

"We were in the museum and heard a part of their conversation before a small ginger closed the doors looking in our direction, he might've seen us." Jay began, "He said something about a special exhibition and a way to bring it more honor, we're thinking he wants to give a party there." Lloyd finished.

"They want to host a ball." I said thinking to myself, a ball seemed like their style.

"I got attacked." Kai said scratching the back of his head.
"Did you get hurt?" Cole asked him and Kai shook his head, "Y/n saved me over there." He spoke looking at me and I gave him a small smile.

"They know we were here and keeping an eye out, I don't think it would work extremely against us if they've seen us." Zane spoke and I agreed with him. We weren't going to make this easy.

"What now?" Jay asked looking down at the museum. We saw eleven smiling figures coming out of the building, seems like they got what they wanted.

"Looks like we're attending to a ball." Lloyd answered smiling.
