"Can I meditate with you sensei?" I asked Wu after I knocked on his door.
He sat the same as usual, in a cross legged position in front of the burning candles.

"Come in y/n, is there something upsetting your mind?" He asked me as he signed me to sit down in front of him.
"Do you know anything about Astor sensei?" I carefully ask and sit down as I was told.

"I've never heard of him before, so no."

"Do you think it's his real name master Wu, or might he be someone else?"

"That's an interesting perspective my child, Zane told me the name Astor Withlock didn't exist according to his sources. Knowing that, he could perhaps be someone else." Wu spoke, now opening his eyes for the first time when I went quiet.

"Are you okay, y/n?" Wu asked looking at me.

"I've been having weird dreams lately, about a friend from my past." I started.

"Dreams mostly have meanings, what do they tell you?" Wu asked and he grabbed his teapot.

"Nothing, probably just telling me I'm still grieving." I said bluntly, not wanting to think about it.
I watched as master Wu started pouring the tea, he didn't say anything and I wasn't sure if he believed I thought it meant nothing.

"I understand you're still having a hard time dealing with great loss, but I want to let you know I am proud. And if there's anything you ever want to tell me, tell me." He assured me, taking a sip of his tea.

I nodded as I stood up, smiling at his compliment.
"Thank you Sensei, I will be heading to bed now." I said as I opened the door.
"Good night my child, get well soon. It's a shame for me and the others to miss you on the team." He said and I noticed a small smile behind his long beard.

"Don't worry, I'll be back on my feet in no time." I assured him as I walked away.

I saw Cole standing behind the opened door of the video games room, as soon as he saw me he placed his index finger on his lips, signing for me to me quiet.
I raised my eyebrows at him but didn't say anything, suddenly I heard two laughs from inside the room. Jay and Nya's.

Cole shook his head and walked towards the kitchen, I followed him leaving Nya and Jay in their moment.
"Why were you spying on them Cole." I tried to ask in the most non judging tone.
"Just wondering what they were up to, but stepping in would feel like I was interrupting." He said as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Do you mind them being together?" I asked sitting down.
"Um, I mean I just didn't expect it. Nya told me she was over Jay, but now they seem to be back to where they left off." He said slightly upset as he reached for a the chocolate cake in the fridge.

"I don't think Nya had realized, but I didn't think it was ever really over." I tell him, grabbing two forks.
"I just hoped I'd have a chance." Cole spoke as he grabbed a piece of cake with the fork.

"Maybe it wasn't meant to be." I carefully speak, but he seemed to agree.
"In the end I just want them to be happy, me and Jay before were the best friends ever." He spoke while his mouth was filled with cake.

"You still are, I'm sure." I told him and he nodded.
"Have you ever been in love y/n?" He asked me, changing the subject.

"I have loved a lot of people in my life, but I don't genuinely think I've ever been in love deeply." I finally say after thinking about my response for a while.

"Ever had a boyfriend?" Cole continued asking.
"For a while, but we were better as friends. It just missed something." I said trying to find the words.
"Passion?" He asked, munching on the cake.

"I think so, did you feel that with Nya?" I fired the question back at him while enjoying the delicious cake in front of us.

"No, I convinced myself I did but deep down I think I knew it wasn't passionate." He eventually spoke, I smiled from inside at the thought of me having deep talk with Cole and a piece of chocolate cake.
But I didn't mind, I enjoyed it.

We sat in silence for a while, but it was nice.
"The cake is really good." I eventually said as I grabbed another piece with my fork.
"I know right! Though we should stop, I promised Jay to save him something."

"We should." I told him as I placed the two forks in the sink while Cole put the leftover piece in the fridge.

"Thank you for tonight y/n." Cole answered as he pulled me in for a short hug, I noticed then how bricked he was. It felt like I was hugging stone, but it was still nice.

"Hello Cole, Y/n." Zane suddenly spoke behind us and me and Cole almost jump up from surprise.
"Jeez Zane, did Jay fuck up your timing  settings again?!" Cole spoke and I laughed looking at Zane, seeing Lloyd right behind him.

"Where'd you guys come from?" I asked, wondering why they were dressed in their gi's.
"A little visit to Borg tower, warning him for a chance of intruders. Since he unknowingly kept one of the parchments." Lloyd said as he reached trough the cabinets.

"He now has a great security system put up to keep it safe, he's good with that." Zane added as he sat down at the table.

"How's yours and Nya's so far?" I asked leaning against the counter.
"Mostly done, maybe just a few adjustments then we're good." Zane spoke as I walked to the door.

"You're heading to bed?" Lloyd asked turning to me as he filled a glass with water.
"Yeah I think so, I'm pretty tired." I replied, wondering what he would've said if I said no.

He nodded and sat next to Zane and Cole at the table.
"Sleep well y/n." He smiled at me and I walked away after I thanked him.

I opened the door to my room, the big window stood all the way open and the wind blew a few leaves inside.
I closed it and wondering why it was opened all the way down, Nya and I never did so.

I took a quick shower and wrapped a towel around my body as I walked towards my closet to grab a pair of pajamas.
Suddenly I spotted a white note on my nightstand.

Dearest y/n,
I think in the meantime we both know who I am and we need to have a little talk.
See you soon, you know where to find me.

I felt my heart race at the words as the realization came in.
Everything I had been denying this whole day was now confirmed, and I couldn't run away from it anymore.
I knew, I knew it was him. And I knew where to find him.

I put back my pajamas and reached for my gi, time to give my old friend a little visit.
