Y/n woke up by herself and she checked the time, 5:30. She sighed realizing she had at least an hour left before training started.
She quickly put on her gi, put her soft hair up in a ponytail and walked out of her room. Looking back at Nya, who was still peacefully sleeping.
She didn't catch a very good sleep, turning often and with a lot on her mind.
Y/n walked outside, the sun slowly appearing from behind the mountains.
She took a deep breath and started meditating on a training pole, trying to test her balance and clear her mind.
After half an hour the sun rays reached her, a golden stroke of light touching her face.
She jumped down on the ground, walking inside to grab some food.
"Good morning y/n." She was greeted by Zane, who seemed to be cooking pancakes. Y/n's face lit up at the sight.
"Good morning Zane, what are you making?" She sweetly asked, looking over his shoulder.
"Blueberry pancakes, would you like one?" Zane nicely offered and y/n immediately replied yes.
"Your lucky you're early then." Zane smiled at y/n as she sat down sipping from a cup of coffee.
"Did I smell pancakes??" Cole excitedly asked as he peaked his head trough the door.
Cole and y/n enjoyed the pancakes as the others slowly walked in, firstly looking grumpy but once they saw Zane cooking their expressions turned slightly happier.
"Good morning students, you're expected outside in five minutes." Garmadon informed the ninja and grabbed a cup of coffee.
The ninja groaned as they stood up, walking after Garmadon towards the outside training course.
"You seem tired, all run up the stairs two times. Last one back 200 push ups." Wu calmly spoke while drinking from his tea.
"No cheating." He added as we all began to run down the hundreds of stairs.
Y/n looked annoyed, knowing how easy it would be if she could just teleport all the way to the valley and back up the mountain in a second.
She did prioritize a good physical condition, even though she didn't need it to move locations due her power.
After a while Zane made it back firstly all the way to the top, looking back to the others beneath him.
Secondly Lloyd reached the top, followed by Kai, y/n and Jay with Nya right behind him.
They all waited for Cole, who was painting his way back up.
"Shouldn't have eaten so much." He groaned grabbing for his stomach as we all laughed.
He took a deep breath and did all the push ups with ease, leaving the others impressed.
"Much better." Wu smiled as if he didn't just put all his ninja trough a hell of an exercise.
"We need to be prepared for when Astor arrives, that's why I want all of you try and find the parchment inside the monastery. In order to do so, you will need to pass the tasks keeping it safe." Garmadon spoke.
"But me and Nya will know a .." Zane started and Wu interrupted him. "That's why the other five will receive a headstart."
Jay, Lloyd, Cole, y/n and Kai walked into the monastery, heading towards the headquarters.
"How hard could this be?" Jay asked and the others shrugged their shoulders, having no idea what to expect.
"What are we even looking for in the first place?" Cole asked, bluntly looking around.
"Probably a secret passageway to start with." Kai spoke as he looked at the bookshelves around him.
"Those look suspicious." He said as he started to throw all the books on the floor.
"I'm sure Sensei wu would be happy to see that." Jay sarcastically said looking at the mess Kai had made.
Kai let out a "oops" as he scratched the back of his head.
"Better clean that up Kai." Cole spoke as the rest of the ninja walked around the room, searching for any clue about the secret location of the hidden parchment.
Kai let out a sigh and started his spinjitzu to clean up the books, as soon as he started turning the floor sank and all five fell down.
The now ceiling closed, making it look like a normal floor in the headquarters.
"Spinjitzu is key I guess." Lloyd spoke.
Kai lit up a ball of fire from his hands, making the ninja see something in the darkness.
Then they spotted a few torches and lit them using Kai's power.
"What would you do without me." Kai chuckled as he took the lead walking forward.
"Shag Nya." Jay whispered, lucky for him Kai didn't hear.
Y/n lighted the wall on her left with a torch, looking out for any clues.
"You never showed me this in the tour, Kai." She said, receiving a laugh from Kai.
"I would've showed you if I knew this was here, trust me sunshine." He answered when he suddenly stopped walking.
Causing for Jay to bump into him, who didn't notice Kai had stopped walking. Kai fell over the edge and screamed in fear.
"KAI!" Jay screamed out of horror and the ninja stood there in silence, not knowing what had just happened.
"What are you waiting for, this is the way." We heard a voice echo from all the way down, making us sigh out of relief.
"No choice then." Cole said as he jumped after Kai, down the hole that looked like it didn't have an ending.
"No wait! Let's think about this!" Jay started but Lloyd already jumped down before he could hear Jay yap, leaving y/n and Jay alone at the top.
"Jay come on, don't you trust Kai? It's safe." Y/n started, looking down over the edge.
"I trust my instincts, that tell me not to just jump in a dark hole!" He started but before he could finish y/n grabbed his arm, pushing him over the edge and jumping behind him.
Jay let out a loud scream until he softly landed on a trampoline, once he realized everything was fine he let out a sigh.
"That wasn't so bad, right Jay?" Cole asked him, holding in his laugh.
"Y/n I'm never trusting you again!" Jay angrily spoke, putting his arms over each other.
"I saved you, imagine I jumped with the torch, you'd have to jump on your own in the dark." Y/n told him, making Jay rethink his words.
"What now?" Lloyd asks looking around, the walls seemed to never end around the trampoline. They had nowhere to go.
"There." Y/n pointed out a cave a few metres above the trampoline in a wall.
"We'll never get there, that jump is to high." Cole started.
"We need to jump at the same time, lifting one of us up that height." Lloyd started but y/n stopped him from talking.
"There's an easier way." She said smiling, as she teleported to the cave above them, smiling down at the stupid faces beneath her.
"Okay little miss only thinks about herself, what about us?" Kai asked, slightly irritated and confused.
Y/n rolled her eyes and looked around her, lighting up the space.
Her sight found a long brown rope, she knotted it around a heavy brick besides her.
"Hold on tight!" She spoke as she threw the other side down, letting the four guys climb up to the cave.
"Why didn't you just teleport all of us with you?" Jay asked as he lied flat on the ground in exhaustion.
"More fun to watch you struggle." Y/n answered as she shrugged her shoulders.
"What the hell were they thinking when putting a damn trampoline down here?" Cole asked annoyed.
"Definitely Garmadon's suggestion." Kai spoke and the others agreed as they walked further into the cave, not knowing what they would encounter.
