"It's the ninja!" A kid hopefully spoke, looking at the car in front of him that just came out the ground.
In a second the six ninja jumped out, looking around them.

"No! If anywhere, why did we crash the arcade?" Jay said, grieving over the broken equipment around him.
"Now is not the time to worry about gaming Jay, we need to act fast." Nya spoke, looking through the windows of the arcade.

"We have an advantage, Astor might've assumed us dead." Lloyd spoke, blocking the door before Kai wanted to ran out.
"Stay in the shadows, Nya stay here, wait for any sign from our senseis or Misako." Lloyd demanded and everyone nodded in response.

"That's what ninjas are best at." Kai spoke excitedly, thinking about one of the first shadow trainings.
Nya nodded, kinda disappointed she couldn't come with.
But she knew why, she didn't have any ninja abilities, or at least not yet. Sensei Wu said her time will come.

The five ninjas walked outside, carefully looking all around.
They saw all buildings moving, it looked like they were forming some sort of structure.
Lloyd looked up to them, pinching his eyes to see two people standing on Borg tower, the biggest skyscraper of the city. He noticed the spirit being one of them, their bright green light wasn't hard to miss.

"Watch out brothers, Astor's men are patrolling around." Zane spoke, looking around the armed men in suits. They walked in rows and patrolled the streets.

"Are the civilians safe?" Lloyd asked, "I believe they have followed the safety protocols and are home with locked doors, some evacuated the city." Zane informed and Lloyd thanked him, just before they split up in different directions.

Where are you y/n? Lloyd asked himself worried, not seeing any sight of her. Could she still be in the first realm? What if she can't return? Or if she never reached it in the first place?

Lloyd searched through the entire city for y/n, without any sign or succes. Then he saw a bright flame from the corner of his eye, followed by blue lightening. It seemed like his teammates blown their cover, and were fighting without him.

Lloyd quickly ran towards the big tower, trying to jump roof to roof on the other assembled buildings.
Suddenly he got pulled back, a man held a knife to his throat. Astor.

"Green ninja, before you attack let me explain." Astor quickly spoke and he stepped back from the wall, he dropped his knife in surrender.
"I fear Nicholas partly took over my mind after he passed away, and he made me do bad things, I have made the mistake to bring him back. The balance needs to be restored." Astor, or now Jake spoke.

Lloyd grabs the knife from the ground pinning Jake against the wall, the anger raging over him.
"Why the hell should I believe you?" He angrily asked and Jake looked him in the eyes, he wasn't wearing a mask. And Lloyd had seen him without it, but his expression was different, like never before.

He looked scared, the fear and innocence in his eyes showed through.

"Now when he's in physical form the possession took off, I'm just Jake now." He said, looking into Lloyd's eyes for any help.

It made Lloyd drop the knife, he kicked it of the building, being done with the whole situation.

"How do I stop him?" Lloyd asked straight to the point, referring to Astor's older brother.
"You can't." Jake spoke, looking at the ninja in front of him. Lloyd's eyes widened, "Unless you break the curse."

Lloyd shook his head in confusion, feeling helpless. "You need to get to the amulet." Jake added, trying to think clearly.
Lloyd nodded as he thought about everything, then he realized something.

"Wait, where's y/n?" Lloyd asked, the confidence he normally had in his voice crumbled.
"Nothing doesn't come without a price." Astor repeated the words he had heard earlier, stumbling back at the realization.

"I'll kill him." Lloyd spoke, his sadness turning into anger. But before he could head further towards Borg tower to fight alongside his friends, Jake pulled him back.
"Don't, you'll kill her too."

That last sentence made Lloyd absolutely mad. "That," Lloyd painted out, pointing towards the man standing on top of the tower, "is not my y/n."

"Just remember, destroy the amulet, not him. If you ever want to see her again." Jake clearly spoke, looking up at the fight a few buildings away.

Jake watched the green ninja head towards Borg tower as he reached for the bleeding wound at the side of his torso.
His heavy emotions had taken over the pain, he didn't even notice it before.

Jake let out a deep breath, the pain consuming him now. And the realization of his past misdoings making him regret everything, his head hurting like his body.
