The tension in the room was suffocating as their eyes met, unspoken truths hanging between them like a storm ready to break. Jungkook's gaze was unreadable, his presence commanding, but Taehyung saw the flicker of recognition in his dark eyes. He knew. But before Taehyung could process what this meant, before he could even utter a word, Jungkook moved with the cold precision of a man born to power. The gun in his hand was steady as he raised it to tae's temple, his voice a chilling whisper in the silence that followed.

"It's been a long time since that day. Goodbye."

The sound of the gunshot echoed through the room, drowning out Taehyung's scream as the world around him shattered into darkness. As his consciousness faded, his mind drifted back to the day it all started-the night when a kiss in the dark set in motion a chain of events that would bring him to this moment, facing death at the hands of the man who was the father of his child.

Few months ago............

Tae stood at the bar, the dim lights casting soft shadows across his face. He was tipsy, the alcohol warming his body, making the room feel like it was spinning. The beat of the music vibrated through him, and he found himself swaying slightly, enjoying the rhythm. His family might be the wealthiest in town, with ties to both legitimate and shadowy businesses, but tonight, none of that mattered. Tonight, he was just taehyung not Kim Taehyung -no responsibilities, no pressure,
He laughed loudly at something one of his friends said, his mind pleasantly hazy. His world was a whirl of blurred faces and distant sounds, a delightful contrast to the usually sharp and calculating mind he had to maintain Life was too serious; tonight was for forgetting.
After a few more drinks, tae stumbled toward the bathroom, needing a moment to himself The room was dark, the air heavy with a mix of cologne and something more primal. His senses were dulled by the alcohol, but he still felt a strange pull, an attraction he couldn't quite place. He pushed open a stall door, leaning heavily against it, when suddenly he felt a pair of hands on his hips.
V gasped softly, the sound barely audible above the music thudding through the walls. He should push the stranger away, but something inside him a deep, instinctual need-stopped him. The hands were firm yet gentle, and when lips brushed against his, he didn't resist. The kiss was hot and urgent, and tae found himself melting into it, his body reacting even before his mind could catch up. The stranger's touch was electric sending shivers down his spine as they explored each other in the confined space. Tae could barely think, every thought dissolving under the heat of the moment. The feel of rough, eager hands on him was intoxicating, almost as much as the alcohol had been. Their breaths mingled, the tension betweer them mounting until tae could hardly stand it. When they moved to a car parked outside, the world around them seemed to vanish. The night was a blur of passion, a fevered exchange of desire that left him breathless. The windows fogged up as they lost themselves in each other, and V didn't care about the consequences. This was what he needed-to feel something real, something raw.

4 week later

Weeks later, tae found himself facing a new reality--he was pregnant. The news had shocked him at first, but his family had been overjoyed. They were liberal and open-minded, thrilled that their heir was expecting, no matter the
circumstances. Yet, he couldn't shake the nagging worry in the back of his mind. Who was the father? The night at the bar was a haze, and he had no idea who the mysterious stranger was.
Life continued, and he tried to push his worries aside. His family's business dealings were as complex as ever, and today they were meeting with their biggest rivals. Taehyung walked through the hallway towards the meeting room. He was distracted, his thoughts occupied with the unknown father of his child. But as he approached the door, something hit him-a scent, faint but unmistakable. His heart raced, a surge of panic tightening his chest. His baby was reacting, signaling to him in a way only an Omega could understand. The other parent was near-closer than he had ever imagined. His breath quickened as he reached for the door handle, his mind spinning. Could it really be?
Taehyung pushed the door open, his eyes scanning the room until they landed on a figure standing at the head of the table. Jungkook, the heir to their rival's empire, turned around slowly, his eyes locking with V's. The scent grew stronger, almost overwhelming, confirming V's worst fear-and his deepest, most desperate hope.
It was him. Jungkook's gaze was intense, his expression unreadable as he looked at V, the silence stretched, thick with unspoker words and unresolved tension.
Taehyung's mind raced. How could this be happening? The man he had been with that night, the one who was the father of his child, was his family's sworn enemy. The world seemed to tilt as the reality of the situation sank in.
Jungkook took a step forward, V swallowed hard, unsure of what to say what to feel. His heart was pounding and he could barely breathe. All he knew was that everything had just changed, and there was no turning back.
