The penthouse was quiet, filled with an almost suffocating tension. Everyone was gathered-Jungkook, Suga, Jimin, Jackson, and Taehyung.

A map was spread out on the coffee table, scattered with notes, photos, and intel on the third family, their next target. But the atmosphere wasn't focused on the task at hand. There was an undercurrent of something more volatile.

Jungkook sat in the corner, silent, his eyes trained on Taehyung. He hadn't spoken much since the meeting started, but everyone could feel the weight of his stare. Taehyung, on the other hand, sat across from him, seemingly unbothered by the scrutiny, his face unreadable. The tension between the two was thick, and everyone in the room could sense it.

Jimin cleared his throat, trying to break the silence.

"We've narrowed down the third family's hideouts,But we can't just storm in without a solid plan. It's too dangerous. We need more intel, more backup."

Jackson leaned forward, eyes scanning the room.

"I agree. A single misstep, and they'll retaliate in ways we can't handle right now."

Suga, ever the tactician, spoke next.

"We need to be smart about this. We can't afford any mistakes. We have to be coordinated-no room for emotion. Just strategy."

The comment seemed aimed directly at Jungkook, whose silence was growing more unnerving by the minute. His eyes were still locked on Taehyung, his jaw clenched. It was clear that Jungkook wasn't just thinking about the mission; there was something personal brewing beneath the surface.

Taehyung finally broke his silence, his voice calm, almost casual.

"We know what needs to be done. But there's no point if we're hesitant. The longer we wait, the more dangerous it becomes."

Jungkook's eyes narrowed at Taehyung's words, his lips twitching in frustration. Everyone could feel the shift in the room-like a fuse had just been lit.

"You seem awfully sure of yourself," Jungkook finally said, his voice low, almost a growl. The tension escalated immediately. Everyone knew this wasn't just about the plan anymore.

Taehyung didn't look at Jungkook directly but smirked slightly. "I know what I'm talking about."

The room went still. Jackson glanced between the two, sensing the dangerous path this conversation was headed down. Jimin shifted uncomfortably, while Suga remained stoic, but even he was watching the exchange closely.

"You sure?" Jungkook pressed, his tone laced with suspicion. "Or are you just playing your own game here, Taehyung?"

Taehyung's eyes flicked toward Jungkook, his smirk fading into something more serious.

"What exactly are you accusing me of?"

Jungkook leaned forward, his voice sharp. "You tell me. Everyone's doing their part, trying to keep this family together. Meanwhile, you're out there... God knows what you're really up to."

The room went quiet, the tension now unbearable. Jimin exchanged a glance with Jackson, both of them unsure whether to intervene or let this play out.

Taehyung's expression didn't waver. "I'm doing what needs to be done. For this family."

Jungkook scoffed, his anger barely contained. "For this family? Or for yourself?"

Jackson raised his hand, trying to diffuse the situation before it spiraled out of control.

"This isn't the time for this,We need to stay focused on the third family, not on tearing each other apart."

Suga nodded in agreement. "If we start fighting amongst ourselves, we've already lost. We have to be united."
