Wedding bells echoed through the mansion, a sense of excitement mixed with nerves. To Jackson’s surprise, Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung blended effortlessly with Irene, despite their family’s turbulent history. It wasn’t just Irene’s charm—it was the fact that they’d never had a sister figure growing up. Yeri, too, had become part of their circle, her bright energy keeping everyone at ease.
Jimin, laughing, "You’re like the sister we never had. It’s strange, but it feels right."
Taehyung, who had been preoccupied with his phone, nodded. "Yeah, it’s like we’ve known you forever. Not many people can pull that off."
Yeri chimed in, "Irene unnie is the best! Can’t believe you guys didn’t have a girl around to boss you around all these years."
Jungkook : "Better late than never."
People were buzzing around, putting the final touches on the wedding preparations. As the clock ticked closer to the evening ceremony, Taehyung’s attention wandered to Jungkook, who was deep in conversation with Bogum across the room. Something about their hushed tones piqued his curiosity, but before he could investigate, J-Hope swooped in as the ever-present mood-maker, ensuring that no one stayed too serious for too long.
Meanwhile, Jaehyun sat by himself, a quiet storm brewing inside. Watching Taehyung and Jungkook together at the shop had struck him harder than expected. He hadn’t realized how deep his feelings for Taehyung ran until he saw them so inseparably happy. He sighed, his mind torn between regret and acceptance.

As the evening approached, only three hours remained before the ceremony. Irene and Jackson were busy taking pre-wedding photos, their faces alternating between smiles and playful smirks.
Everyone was there—Jin, J-Hope, their father, Felix (Irene’s cousin), Namjoon, Jaehyun, Yeri, Jinyoung, Bogum, Mr. Jeon, and all the close family and friends. The entire place was bustling, but despite the festive air, Jackson stood like a statue, stiff with unease.
"Should I run?" Jackson muttered under his breath, his nerves starting to unravel.
Suga, standing next to him, rolled his eyes, "Are you an idiot?"
Jackson clenched his fists. "I don’t know, I just feel like something’s wrong."
Suga shot him a sideways glance. "Nothing’s wrong, you’re just freaking out."
Jackson and Suga exchanged looks, both blinking in silence. Jackson's heart pounded, and a strange feeling gnawed at him.

Elsewhere, Taehyung was distracted with his phone, barely noticing the figure approaching until a throat-clearing sound pulled him back to reality. Mr. Jeon stood before him, calm yet carrying the weight of their unresolved tension.
Taehyung’s sharp gaze flicked between Mr. Jeon and Mr. Kim, who stood nearby with a warning look, silently telling him to behave.
Taehyung sighed but turned to face Mr. Jeon.
Mr. Jeon, calmer than he had been in days, spoke softly, "I know you’re mad at me. The world might say your mother ran away with someone, but the truth is... I let her go. We were never in love, and our separation was mutual. I did it because I wanted her to be happy, even if it wasn’t with me."
Taehyung stood there, caught off guard by the unexpected vulnerability in his father's voice. His initial defiance faltered for a moment, a flicker of something softer passing through his eyes.
"I didn’t know that," Taehyung said quietly, glancing at Mr. Kim, who was still giving him sharp looks. "I know I crossed the line that day. I’m sorry." He paused, as if deciding whether to say more, then his lips curled into a familiar smirk. "But... it’s no wonder she left. You’re an irritating old man."
At that, Mr. Kim, unable to hold back, slapped his forehead in frustration, : " You brat, shut up"
Mr. Jeon blinked, surprised, then chuckled softly.

As the announcements echoed through the hall, calling everyone to gather, a wave of emotion washed over Irene’s father. Standing off to the side, his eyes glistened with pride and nostalgia, seeing his little girl—his innocent Irene—about to get married. He blinked back tears, trying to keep it together, but J-Hope wasn’t going to let that happen.
J-Hope tagged along, dramatically clutching his father’s arm. “The noona is leaving us, Dad! Our princess is getting married!”
Jinyoung and Jaehyun couldn’t help but roll their eyes at the overly sentimental display. Jinyoung muttered under his breath, “How are they so dramatic over everything?”
Jaehyun stifled a chuckle, shaking his head, “You’d think the world was ending.”
Meanwhile, Jin stood nearby, observing the whole scene with mild amusement. He sighed, thinking to himself, This whole family is a walking drama.
Namjoon, standing beside Jin, let out a hearty laugh, catching the vibe of the situation. “It’s like we’re in a soap opera,” he said, slapping Jin lightly on the shoulder.
Jin chuckled, nodding in agreement. “Tell me about it.”

Jackson, now fully dressed and ready, stood at the altar, but his mind was racing.
What if she really is a witch? Should I run?
As he thought that, the doors swung open, and the bride entered.
Irene’s eyes immediately locked with Jackson’s, her lips curving into a smirk as though she had just heard every word he said in his head.
