Everyone quietly eating lunch, the tension is evident at the dining table. Taehyung is clearly grumpy, still harboring anger toward his father lingering from his heated argument with Mr. Jeon two days ago.

Jungkook, though his hands have improved, is still wearing compression bandages.

Jin, J-Hope, and Irene sit nearby, with Jaehyun and his sister, Yeri, present as well. Yeri, visiting from Busan, brings a lightness to the otherwise tense atmosphere, her bubbly teenage energy contrasting with the weighty mood of the room.

Mr. Kim, sensing the need to ease the tension, smiles warmly and asks, "So, Yeri, do you like Seoul?"

Yeri responds cheerfully, "Yeah, I do!"

Suga, ever the smooth talker, adds with a grin, "Why don’t you bring her to stay here, Jaehyun? You have a home in Seoul, after all."

Jaehyun chuckles. "I wish I could, but I’m always busy. And besides, they’re used to living in Busan."

Suga turns his attention back to Yeri, eyes soft with affection. "Hey, Yeri, if you want anything, just let me know. I’ll make your wish come true."

Yeri smiles, clearly pleased with the attention, while across the table, Jimin quietly fumes with jealousy, eyes flashing with anger

Yeri smiles, clearly pleased with the attention, while across the table, Jimin quietly fumes with jealousy, eyes flashing with anger.

Irene notices immediately and, sensing the tension, throws a quick smirk in Jimin's direction, clearly enjoying his discomfort.

Jimin sat alone in his room, the weight of his emotions pressing down on him. It wasn’t that he disliked Yeri; she was sweet, innocent, and had nothing to do with his frustrations. Yet, every time Suga showered her with affection, a sharp pang of jealousy coursed through him. He knew it was irrational, but he couldn't help it.

Why had Suga risked everything by telling Jackson about their past? And now, after all that, Suga wasn’t even trying to talk to him. Had Suga never been serious about rekindling their relationship?

Jimin’s thoughts spiraled, overthinking each moment, each interaction. He let out a frustrated sigh as the sounds of the house buzzed around him.

-----

Jin and J-Hope had already left, busy with their respective tasks. Irene and Yeri were deep in conversation, their voices blending easily as they bonded over shared interests.

Jackson and Jaehyun were engrossed in their own discussion, while Taehyung and Jungkook were distracted by their phones, hardly interacting with anyone.

Meanwhile Suga searched for Jimin in his room, but it was empty.

Remembering that Mr. Kim had asked to see him earlier, he decided to head toward the office. When he entered the room, he was surprised to find Jimin already seated, his posture tense. It became clear to Suga that Mr. Kim was planning to confront both of them. Taking a deep breath, he braced himself for the conversation that was about to unfold.

Mr. Kim sat at his desk, calm but observant. "So, tell me," he said, his voice quiet but firm.

Jimin stared blankly, not saying a word. The silence stretched between them, thick with tension.

"Nothing to say?" Mr. Kim pressed, waiting for an explanation.

Jimin finally broke the silence, his voice sharp with anger. "I have nothing to do with him now, and I’m not interested in the future." His words were cold, a wall built to keep both Suga and his own emotions at bay.

Suga’s face showed disbelief. How had things spiraled so quickly? He had hoped for at least a conversation, but Jimin had already made up his mind.

Mr. Kim, sensing the conversation wouldn’t go anywhere, changed the topic. "Suga, your father mentioned you received a marriage proposal from one of the shareholders’ families."

The mention of a proposal was the last straw for Jimin. With a harsh screech, he pushed his chair back, the legs scraping violently against the floor.

Without another word, he stormed out of the office, leaving both Mr. Kim and Suga in tense silence.

"Well," Mr. Kim said with a resigned sigh, "at least I got my answer."

"Sir, a parcel has arrived," a hesitant voice announced.

"And why are you bothering me with that?" Taeil snapped, clearly annoyed, not in the mood for any interruptions.

"Sir... it's... it’s Mark’s...de...dead... bo—" Before the man could finish his sentence, Taeil grabbed him by the throat, choking him in a fit of sudden rage.

"What did you just say?" Taeil screamed, his voice echoing with fury.

Despite their complex relationship, despite the distance between them, Mark was still his blood. Even if they hadn’t been close as brothers, the bond of family still ran deep. The fact that someone dared to kill a member of the Park family was unforgivable.

Taeil's grip tightened. "They dare to finish off one of our own? Well, let’s begin the real game—game of blood."

As the man's face turned blue from lack of air, Taeil threw him aside, the weight of the coming storm settling in his chest.
