This meant that normal school life started again. At first we got to know the teachers and when I finally got on well with someone, I was asked to change groups so that there were the same number of people in both. We were a large class, which is why we were split into two groups in some subjects. However, I made sure that I didn't have to switch, which I am now very happy about.
The normal lessons passed and the first sports lessons were here and when I found out who our teacher would be, I could hardly believe my luck, it was Mr. Hunter, with whom I felt connected from the beginning.
A brief introduction to Mr. Hunter so that you can get an idea of who he is. He's actually the kind of teacher who is really cheeky with the pupils and doesn't mince his words. But with me he was just different, of course I got a funny line now and again, but on the whole he was much more caring towards me. I like the way he is, because my trainer is just like him and I just feel safe with him.
But back to the first sports lesson. Mr. Hunter first explained to us how the school year would go. When he said that he would also be teaching the 1st and 2nd year functional training on Fridays, I was simply relieved and looked forward to the school year. What I didn't know was that everything would be different.
