A light in the darkness

I was finally back in the winter semester, which I had been looking forward to since the start of school. The joy was justified, because in winter we have a training course taught by Mr. Hunter and Mr. Antretter.

A brief explanation of how this training works. After the autum break until the Easter break, we have a training session together with the soccer players instead of Monday training. We go through different areas, starting with parkour, strength, circuits and, last but not least, speed. It's just a really good and very fun training session.

Every Tuesday from 16:35 to 18:20 I had this training with the boys from my class and the fourth grade. So I finally had hope of being happy again for a few months because I had Mr. Hunter back in sports. I made lots of funny memories during all the warm-up and finishing games.

At training itself, you always had to go in two teams together, which scared me again, but Mr. Hunter handled this with aplomb and asked me which of the girls I would prefer to do it with and generally made sure I was doing well at every training session.

I'm the kind of person who always gives 100% and you often have to put up with it, like me at training when I got a few balls in the face. But in return I often got praise from Mr. Hunter, which was really good for my psyche.

At the last training session, there were only six of us with Mr. Hunter alone. Because it was the last training session, we only played games. It was a great honor for me to be able to play in the team with Mr. Hunter. We also won all the games. I was particularly pleased with his words, as he said that there was a reason why he didn't put me in the other team because I was too good. And so the winter training session came to an end.
