Yeonjun's POV:

This bastard!? Dare to strike a punch!?

"What's going on here."
Mr. Kim's gaze and voice were cold. Icy, it could give you frostbite.

We all bow to Mr. Kim.

"F-father.. what brings you here?"
Sohee's eyes bore right into his, although she was caught off guard she quickly kept her face.
I liked that about her.. it's admirable. She's...

"Well all this commotion, i received some report that the three of you were together. It's nice you kids are getting along.."
Mr. Kim says smiling, but it was that fake business smile, everyone could tell. It was quite scary.

Mr. Kim kept that smile, patting Soobin's shoulder. This bastard is dead, I almost feel bad.

"Yeonjun, Soobin. My office now."
He turns his back, expecting us to follow along. As we do.

I turn my back around to look at Sohee, my eyes feel discomfort looking at her. It felt the same way when I looked at her and Soobin.

I turn away.
I don't like this feeling.

Soobin didn't bat an eye at anything, he was in his own world. I don't get how he can tune out any of this. Working as an assistant is quite low and depressing, almost pitying. How inferior. Like trash.

But this quiet journey to the top floor of Mr. Kim's office gave me some time to analyze. Do I really know what love feels like? I don't like how I prefer Sohee's attention over Chaeyoung's. I don't like how my heartaches staring at Sohee, I don't like how Soobin stands so close.. too close to her.

"Yeonjun."
Mr. Kim snaps.

"Y-Yes!"
I cough, slightly startled.

"I hope you get along with my daughter well, as for you and Soobin, you guys don't matter to each other. You guys really don't need to make a scene."
He gives us that same smile, I nearly had cold feet. I look through the corner of my eye to glimpse at Soobin beside me still keeping his head high unfazed. It almost pissed me off.

"I'll be leaving first. Maybe you guys also need some time together so future chaos doesn't rise. I see how you look at my daughter, Soobin.. That needs to be changed."

Was that a threat? Quite scary.

I hate how he always says one word then leaves. It's so irritating. At this point I should teach him how to text.

I sigh deeply, then catch Soobin on his phone.
How can you just be on your phone so casually when I'm right here!?

cough.

"hm?"
He still has his eyes glued on his phone.

"What's your relationship with Sohee?"
As he pays no attention to me, I look down to see him checking out a campaign picture of Sohee- like a pervert!?

He shuts off his phone and slides it in his pocket casually,
"Well.. we've did it before."
He whispers in my ear, then cunningly smirks leaving the room.

I stand there alone, humiliated.
Why do I care? I have a girlfriend already. She'll be my mistress. I have nothing to worry about.

I ride down the elevator alone,
"Yeonjun-ah!~"

Ah, a sigh of relief. A breath of fresh air, my Chaeyoung.

That voice that melts away the iciest of hearts like mine, she's cute and sweet. That's what I like about her.

She jumps in my arms to hug me, I can almost forget everything my worries. I look around anxious to see if anyone's watching to finally give her a hug back.

I hold her tightly in my arms.

Reminds me back to the days of high school..

Chaeyoung, she's been popular for a while. Already growing up wealthy, her parents are lawyers. The most popular girl at school found me intriguing, the more I gradually hung out with her I found it amusing.

Two popular kids made an amazing couple in the end. Highschool sweethearts.

I had to say, there was a period of time where I did get bored of her. I stopped hanging out with Sohee while I was dating her.. I kind of regret it looking back at it now.

I can't help but admit there's a strong difference between them that makes me so interested in Sohee now.

But I shouldn't be thinking about Sohee right now. It's not right. I don't like this feeling, what is it?

"YEONJUN-AH!"
Chaeyoung scolds me,
"Your eyebrows look angry, if you keep up with that you'll get wrinkles!"
She taps my forehead with her finger.

I chuckle.
"You're so cute Chaeyoung."
I snuggle between her chest mid hug.

"So what were you thinking about so deeply?"
She sulks.

"Nothing. You made me forget."
I boop her nose, then let go.
"Be careful, we can't be affectionate in public. The press remember? I'm soon to be married to Sohee."

"Ah.. right yes."
She bit her lip.
"Don't bite your lip baby, it'll bleed."

"Yeonjun-ah~ you know all my bad habits~ how can I lose someone like you."
She hugs me once again.

I laugh, then let go again.
"I'm serious though Chaeyoung, not here."
I smile sweetly, then pull out my phone to check my emails.

"Baby?.."

"N-no don't cry! You just have to get used to it!.. I'll be all affectionate in private."
I caress her cheeks, and brush her eyes with my fingers to stop the tears running.
"What am I going to do with you."
I sigh, I pick up her hand and drag her out the building with me.

She suddenly eases up immediately, smiling.
"You know oppa, I don't like it when you mention other women in front of me."
She pouts.

"Okay."
I laugh it off. Sohee's not really like other women if I had to think about it.

I then shake my head. WHAT? Why am I defending Sohee!?
"Oppa?"
Chaeyoung looks at me concerned.

"Let's just go to my house."
I smile back at her gently. I like when she calls me oppa, it gives me comfort.

She used to call me oppa..
