CHAPTER 40

Nandini's POV

"what a movie yaar, i literally had goosebumps" karan said

"it was horror ? seriously u call this movie horror .. from what angle its a horror movie , i felt i was seeing a comedy one.. i have seen better movies than this.." i said yawning as i felt bored by this movie ..

"ya ya horror movie queen.. we understood" karan said mocking me

i was about to argue but then manik stopped us ..

" acha baba stop it .. its over now " manik said seeing me glaring at karan

"so lets go out for dinner, rest gangfam is out only , i dont think they will come for dinner , so only we are left and i am really hungry " Mithila claimed rubbing her belly as she was really hungry

"umm u know what, i m not much hungry and i m too tired too , so manik and me will skip dinner , but karan is there to give you company , you both go have dinner " i said as i wanted them to spend some time together

i winked at karan to which he understood my plan of setting them up and he too followed it

"yea , i am hungry too , lets go Mithila , i will take you to my fav Chinese spot " karan said

"you got me at Chinese , its my favourite cant say no to it " Mithila giggled saying this

Karan and Mithila left , now only me and manik was there , i was about to go uptstairs , suddenly i felt a tug on my waist and suddenly i was trapped in his arms, his hands were on my waist hugging me from back .. i love the affect my body has by his touch ..

he slided my hairs to one side and nuzzled in my neck , a shiver ran down my body , i felt butterflies in my stomatch .. i dont know myself that i was craving for his touch , i was craving for his lips on my body .. i was craving for him..

"ma..manik" i said his name like prayer ..

"i missed this , i missed your warmth , i missed your smell , i miss holding you this close " manik said this and started giving soft kisses on my neck and i loved this sweet torture

i turned around and faced him , i saw him looking at me with so much love , couldnt able to bear the strong gaze , i hugged him tightly and he hugged me even more tight .. i felt home .. i felt safe .. he is my home , my safe place , my everything ..

Manik broke the hug and make me look at him .. he kissed my forhead , making me close my eyes in peace , then he kissed my eyes , my cheeks .. he then kissed the corner of my lips making my breath uneven .. even with closed eyes i can feel his smile seeing his effect on me ..

He was about to kiss me but then i dint feel anything on my lips , i opened my eyes and saw him smirking at me

"are u waiting for something love" manik said smirking

this jerk , he was teasing me making me crave for him and then leaving in between

"manik malhotra , if you didnt kiss me in next 2 secs then i ....." i was not able to complete the sentence as his lips captured my lips ..

MANIK'S POV

"manik malhotra , if you didnt kiss me in next 2 secs then i ... " i kissed her as soon as she says this.. i was dying to feel her lips, she was a drug and i was addicted to her , as soon as i felt her soft lips on my rough lips , it was like my world has stopped, she always takes my breath away..

this girl will be death of me ..

we broke the kiss as we were out of breath , i saw her looking down , her cheeks turned into like pink hue , i love when she blushes..

i chinned up her face and looked into her eyes ..

"i love this bold side " i whispered in her ears making her blush even more..

she shyly hid her face in my chest making me laugh

"what happened , just now you were so bold and now soo shy " i said teasing her

"manik dont tease me na " she said

"i love you my love " i said kissing her hairs

"i love you even more " she said

"okay lets go fill my baby's tummy , i know u r hungry but because you wanted karan and Mithila to spend time together , you avoided going with them " i said knowing her

"you know me soo well .. i m really hungry and i am craving Korean noodles " she said licking her lips making me smile ..

"oky you go change and freshnup till then i will cook your korean noddles for you " i said kissing her forhead and going towards the kitchen

"okay but be fast ok, i cant wait i am too hungry " she ran upstairs

she is such a baby , my baby and i love to pamper her..

NANDINI'S POV

i went to my room to freshnup as i was really hungry and i was craving korean noddles alot

i went to the washroom and was washing my face then only i heard some noise from bedroom

"manik is that you ? manik ? noddles are ready ? " i said thinking that its just few mins only how can noodles cook this fast

getting no response from outside , i wiped my face and hands and went to the bedroom ..

and to my shock there was no one .. but i heard some noise . maybe i was just the wind . i ignored it and went towards my cupboard for change of clothes , i heard a loud bang from downstairs , i got scared but then i thought of manik and i rushed downstairs ..

i ran downstairs and went towards kitchen , and what i saw was enough to make my heart stop.. i saw bowls and plates broken on the floor and manik was lying there unconsious .. i was about to go towards manik but then only i felt a sharp pain on my head and next thing i knew was darkness infornt if my eyes..

MANIK'S POV

darkness is all i feel , my head was throbbing and i can hear some noises ..

"manik .. manik .. manik buddy " i hear cabir's voice

i slowly and dificulty opened my eyes and saw cabir , navya , dhruv, karan, mithila,aliya,mukti , abhi , luna , kalix , nick and noah surrounding me

i slowly sat on sofa , i was trying to remember what happened and nandini where is she

"what happened , you were unconscious when we arrived and where is nandini " mukti said

"nandini where is nandini " i said , panic rushes all over my body ..

"we checked everywhere she is not here , we saw you like this and made you consious " karan said

"we should call the police " kalix said

blank i was blank fully , i was not able to think properly , my mind it was like blocked , i wasn't in my senses , thought of nandini gone is like a death to me

"manik manik .. come in your senses buddy , its not time to panic , we have to think practically , we need nandini back safe " cabir said seeing me blank

"i know where is she " a hear a voice from the main door , i turned and was shocked to see.....
