"Im sorry that came out wrong, I mean I saw what you did back there for that kid, I would really like it if we were friends." Alice said politely.

"Well sure why not?" Amy said.

"I'm new here actually why don't you show me around?" Amy asked with a smile.

They had actually been admitted into the academy since the past three days but Jim had been unconscious all this time.

Amy would always head to the nurse's office to stay with Jim so she hasn't really been able to explore the environment.

"Of course!" Alice said enthusiastically.

"Hey guys! I'll tell you what. Why don't I just pay you the money the lost and we'll be on our way? Eh? It's a pretty neat deal don't you think?" Axel said nervously while taking a few steps back.

They were currently in an alleywaythat stretched for a couple of meters, even if they were seen, there was no way any one would care to help. It was a common sight to see the strong oppress the weak in the academy.

"Oh you're gonna pay alright. Not only after we've taught you two never to mess with the trench!" One of the boys who was their supposed leader said with a smirk.

He had shoulder length auburn hair and dark eyes which had a glint of malice imbedded deep within them.

'Shit! They're too many! And talking clearly won't help resolve this issue the only way is to fight. But...' A worried look appeared on his face as he looked at Jim.

'It's my fault he's in this shit! I should take responsibility.' Axel thought as he unsheathed his sword he just got.

The blue blade glimmered under the sun as the dragon pattern engraved on it lit up with a blue glow.

"Let's dance motherfuckers!" Axel exclaimed as he dashed forward leaving a stunned Jim behind.

The leader smiled as he saw this before telling his men to stand back.

"I'll handle this alone. Hopefully he's worth my time." He said.

"Um, Darwin. What about him?" One of the boys asked pointing at Jim.

Darwin sneered.

"Make sure he doesn't interfere." He growled as he pulled a pair of gauntlets from his storage ring.

The gauntlets seemed a little too big for him but he wore it anyway it had a dark brown colour with crimson red tips. Soon his arms started enlarging as his muscles bulged to fit the gauntlets perfectly. His legs also bulged as he went into a crouching position.

"Bring it!"

'He's an enhancer!' Axel thought as he quickly closed in the gap between them.

BOOM!

Darwin burst forward with explosive force instantly covering the distance before launching a punch straight for Axel's head.

'C-crap!' Axel thought as he parried it to the side as the wind generated from the punch blew past his face.

GULP!

Darwin threw another punch with his free arm while retracting the first.

"Fuck you!" Axel exclaimed as a blue orb instantly formed on his palm which he threw at Darwin's chest. It was a point blank attack.

BOOM!

Darwin got thrown back and crashed into the wall by the side. As the dust settled Axel was left wide eyed. Apart from a few scorch marks on his now bare chest there was nothing else and the most disturbing part was the smile that never left his face.

Jim felt his legs go weak after seeing the result of the attack. If that were to be him, he would probably be a lump of roasted meat right now yet this guy took it head on without feeling anything! He was even smiling!

"What a monster." Jim muttered.

"What kind of crazy ass defense is that?! I don't care! I'll keep hitting you till you crack!" Axel was incensed when he saw his attack had no effect.

His sword lit up and he slashed the air several times. Each slash sending forth an energy blade.

CLANG!

CLANG!

CLANG!

Darwin was blocking everything with his gauntlets, the smile never leaving his face even once.

SIGH...

Darwin sighed as he blocked the next energy blade.

"Alright I've had enough of your puny attacks." Darwin announced and the next moment...

THOOM!

Darwin had disappeared from his position appearing right in front of Axel.

'Wha... How did he?...' Axel's mind was a mess as his eyes locked on to the incoming fist with horror, Darwin was too fast. Too close. There was no way he could dodge the attack, all he could do was grit his teeth and bear the pain. Which he did.

CLANG!

"Huh?... Oof!" The body of a dark hired teenager crashed into him sending them flying backwards with force.

"Jim?" He muttered his mind muddled.

"Damn he's strong!" Jim exclaimed while rubbing his wrists.

'How did he get here so fast?' Axel thought.

The thing was, Jim wasn't really fast, he had started running towards Axel from the point when Darwin sighed and yet he only managed to arrive at the last minute.

Seeing someone suddenly pop up in front of him, a vein bulged from Darwin's forehead as he threw a look of rage at his men.

They didn't even know when Jim had moved, they were so immersed in the battle between both of them that they had completely forgot about Jim.

'He's gonna kill us.' was the thought running through all of their minds as they met his glare with a frightened look. And without him saying anything, they all charged forward.

"Run Jim, run!" Axel exclaimed.

There was no way they could fight against these guys most of them were in the low D rank while some (like Darwin) were in the high stages, judging by the strength he had shown, he would be nothing less than a D2 rank.

However, they couldn't run for long as Darwin blocked their path, his smile completely disappearing from his face.

He was pissed.
