POV CHARLOTTE
Heidi and Marima were grinning at me as we all sat down for dinner at this cozy little restaurant. They'd been teasing me non-stop since I walked in, throwing out questions about my time in Phuket.
Of course, I didn't spill all the juicy details, but they wouldn't let it go when the conversation steered into more private territory.
"Ouii, look at our bunny, Marima! She's totally head over heels in love!" Heidi joked, popping a fry into her mouth. Marima, sitting beside her, laughed and chimed in,
"I can see it too, Di. Char here can't lie to save her life. They definitely did it!"
I just pouted in my seat, trying to avoid their eyes, but I could feel the corners of my mouth twitching, fighting back a smile. These two were relentless.
"What's up, Char? You keep glancing around. Looking for someone? Oh wait, is your girlfriend joining us?" Marima teased, practically cackling at this point.
I shot a glare at Marima, "Hey! Knock it off..." but I couldn't hold back the grin that followed. "I'm not looking for anyone, and she's not my girlfriend.. Yet," I said, grabbing the glass in front of me and taking a long sip.
Heidi and Marima weren't done with me though. They kept laughing, throwing out wild guesses about what went down after our little spat at the resort restaurant. I didn't give them any real answers, but they knew me too well. There was no escaping their teasing.
If only they knew, I thought to myself, silently chuckling.
God, thinking back on it was enough to drive me crazy. The way things escalated in the jacuzzi, then moved to the sunbed for some intense making out... How she'd insisted we shouldn't cross the line again, yet I still ended up lying there, frustrated and unable to sleep. Whatever dreams I had that night, they were a blur, but I woke up to find her next to me, and the desire I felt was unstoppable. It was definitely an erotic dream.
Of course, we ended up crossing that line again... and again. There was no resisting when it was just the two of us in the same room-oh, let's be real, in the same bed.
"You're smiling to yourself now. You're totally falling for P'Fa all over again, aren't you, Charlotteeeee?" Heidi teased, clicking her tongue.
"Huh?" I snapped out of my thoughts. Had I really been smiling, thinking about Phuket?
I couldn't help it; it was like I was falling in love with P'Fa all over again. She had this way of making my heart race, of reigniting desires I hadn't felt in months. I hadn't allowed myself to think about her much lately because it would just make me miss her more.
What happened between us in Phuket was so natural, like slipping back into old habits from when we were dating. We could never keep our hands off each other-especially P'Fa. From the early days of our relationship, when I first slept with a girl; and let me tell you, it was far from disappointing, to the later stages where arguments were frequent, we never lacked in the intimacy department. Even when things got rough, sex was the one thing that could keep the peace, though towards the end, even that didn't work as often.
It's been a few days since we got back from Phuket, and we haven't had any joint schedules since. She's been out of town, filming in another province, but she let me know she'd be back in Bangkok today. We still haven't met up, though, which is why I'd asked her to join us for dinner if she could. Honestly, I've been missing her like crazy. With my work keeping me busy, I really just want to be by her side. Somehow, all my stress just melts away when she's around.
"Hello, beautiful ladies."
I heard a familiar voice behind me, and when I turned around, my heart skipped a beat. I couldn't help but beam as I saw her standing there. Heidi and Marima practically jumped out of their seats to hug her. P'Fa had finally arrived, looking casual and comfortable, like she'd just come from home. Her makeup was minimal, yet she was still as stunning as ever.
