POV ENGFA"Listen here," I said, rising from the couch, my eyes locking onto his. "Do you really think someone like you deserves a spot in my life? Look at yourself-you're only here because of my parents. It's pathetic. And now you're blaming me for everything because you couldn't keep it in your pants? Seriously, do you think the world revolves around you?"
I continued, my voice steady but fierce, "You're nothing without me."
His glare was sharp, clearly enraged at my mention of my parents. In a fit of anger, he grabbed a glass from the table and hurled it at me. It shattered against the wall, the liquid splattering across my face before the shards fell to the floor.
I closed my eyes momentarily, then opened them to the jagged pieces scattered behind me. I turned my gaze back to him, now slumped on the stairs, tears streaming down his face like a child denied his favorite toy.
It hit me hard when he said, "You'll never understand how to respect me, and I'll never understand how to love you..."
"Cut!"
I let out a sigh of relief.
"Nice work, you two! That's a wrap for tonight. Let's head home and get some sleep!" the director announced, his voice cutting through the tension, followed by cheers from the crew. It had been a long day.
With a smile, I approached the actor on the stairs. He stood up and pulled me into a hug.
"Great job, P'Taan. Thanks a lot," I said, and he echoed my sentiment before we parted ways.
As I packed up my things, exhaustion weighed heavily on me.
Filming had started at noon, and now, glancing at my phone, I saw it was already 3 AM.
I leaned back in my car seat, closing my eyes, hoping to catch some sleep before P'Sun dropped me off at home.
"Eng... Engfa..."
I stirred awake, stretching as I looked around, feeling a bit disoriented.
"Wake up, we're here," P'Sun said, unbuckling his seatbelt and heading to the trunk to unload our gear.

Four hours later, I found myself on stage for practice with Snack and, of course, Charlotte.
This was getting... interesting.
Working with your Ex is like dining at a high-end restaurant with your favorite dish-you love the taste, but the bill always stings.
That's how it feels with Charlotte Austin, my fellow mate from Miss Grand Thailand.
I glanced at her just as she flubbed a note during our song practice. She giggled, clearly embarrassed, and Snack teased her, "Slow down, P'Char! Not the part yet."
Charlotte laughed harder, a rosy blush creeping up her cheeks.
I couldn't help but smile to myself, though I quickly refocused on my part. I sensed her glancing at me, even from the corner of my eye.
Our relationship was a complicated gray area-not quite good, yet not entirely bad. We broke up six months ago after dating for about two years, just after I returned from Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia, where I was crowned first runner-up.
"P'Fa... Try getting closer to Charlotte at this part. Take her hand and walk together to that spot..." The stage director gestured to the middle of the stage, where some stairs awaited. "Sit there until the song ends. It might help her connect more with the music."
