POV CHARLOTTE

Being at this event, surrounded by all these top models, didn't faze me at all. Even when we stepped out of the limo and the cameras went wild, reporters bombarding us with questions, I stayed completely calm.

Ever since I stepped away from Hollywood, people have been dying to know what's up with my career. But I made it clear in an interview in Bangkok-I wanted more time for myself, to live my life, and maybe start something new that I hadn't done before.

The media went wild with theories about why I left and why I returned to Thailand, most of them centering around Engfa Waraha.

They weren't entirely wrong, but they didn't get the whole picture either.

Long before P'Fa and I got back together, the idea of taking a step back had been on my mind for months. So, I never felt the need to explain it again.

P'Fa and I have never been the type to flaunt our relationship in public. Everything just flowed naturally between us.

During the six months we spent apart to figure things out, I saw an interview with Pichy on a TV show.
She confirmed that she and P'Fa had mutually decided to break up a while ago.

That's when I realized that people hadn't changed-they were still making up stories, and now, even worse. They created all this unnecessary drama about Pichy and P'Fa, and somehow dragged me into it, assuming I had something to do with it.

But that's when I saw Pichy in a different light. She set the record straight and didn't let the rumors spiral, even though she could have if she held a grudge. I appreciated her for that.

Now, with P'Fa and me showing up at such a big event, hand in hand on the red carpet, I could already guess what tomorrow's headlines would be. The Western media, and definitely the Thai media, would be all over it.

They wouldn't just call us The next ultimate power couple-they'd probably label us The reigning showbiz couple. I couldn't help but chuckle to myself at the thought.

We walked into the venue together-me, P'Fa, and Papa-not too early, not too late, just at the right time.

Most of the guests had already arrived.

That's when I noticed Zoenna Hamilton standing with a group of her model friends, looking our way. She smiled after a moment, and I returned her smile politely.

P'Fa was already deep in conversation with a middle-aged man who immediately shook her hand and leaned in to say something. P'Fa smiled and glanced at me, and the man smiled in my direction as well.

"Teerak, this is Mr. Newton. He's one of the shareholders at W-In Enterprises. I told you about this event being partly hosted by NEWT Network-he's the owner," P'Fa introduced us, and I shook hands with Mr. Newton, who still had that friendly smile.

"Wow, Engfa. Charlotte Austin, huh?" He grinned at P'Fa, who responded with a proud nod and smile.

Of course, he recognized me. NEWT Network is a major TV network in the USA, and one of its subsidiaries had bought the rights to one of my series.

"You both look absolutely stunning tonight! Please, enjoy the evening, Engfa, Charlotte. We'll catch up later?" He smiled before turning to chat with Papa, who was engaged in conversation with some colleagues beside us.

"Of course, we look stunning, Teerak. We're totally sensational," P'Fa whispered in my ear, making me giggle. We then moved further inside as a server offered us drinks, which I took for both of us.

Despite the grandeur of this event, we were seated at a big round table with about six chairs around it. It was funny, though, because the seating arrangement seemed like a big joke:
