POV CHARLOTTE
"Come here, Nuu..." P'Fa called out softly, her voice cutting through the stillness of the night.
We were at my old condo in LA. It had been four months since we got back together, and in that time, I had practically been living in Bangkok, fully immersed in my life with her.
I couldn't believe how deeply I still loved her after all these years apart. Rekindling our romance had been nothing short of mind-blowing.
Now, we were back in LA because P'Fa had some business to take care of. I took the opportunity to pack up some of my things from my old rented condo, getting ready to move back to Bangkok for good.
There she was, standing in the middle of the night, wearing nothing but the shirt I'd worn earlier in the day, paired with just her underwear. I sighed at the sight of her; she never ceased to be effortlessly sexy.
I walked over to where she stood on the balcony, her silhouette illuminated by the city lights. As I approached, she wrapped me in a warm embrace, pulling me close.
"Look at that," she whispered, nodding toward the view. "This apartment is really nice. The city lights look even more beautiful from here. I think we should buy this place; you wouldn't need to rent it anymore."
I couldn't help but giggle at her words. Her confidence, her boldness-it never failed to amaze me.
"P'Fa, I'm moving back to Bangkok for good, remember? Why would we buy this place? That's just a waste of money!" I teased, pretending to grumble.
She chuckled, the sound warm and familiar. "True, but I like it here. Who knows, maybe we'll visit often in the future. You might miss LA too, and then we wouldn't have to book a hotel. Plus, it's a good investment, right? I love putting money into property."
Her words made me blush, as they often did. Sometimes she didn't even realize the impact of what she said. She was so thoughtful, always considering everything.
"Oh? You think we'll come back here often?" I decided to tease her a bit, a playful smile tugging at my lips.
She smiled without looking at me, her eyes still on the cityscape. "Yes? What about it?" she paused, finally turning to meet my gaze. "Or do you prefer not to come back here ever again? Don't you miss it? LA is nice, after all. Marima and Mason are still here too. We could consider this our second home."
Her words made my smile grow wider. "Our second home? So, where's the first one?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
She smirked, a playful glint in her eyes. "Why even ask? Of course, it's in Bangkok. Or would you rather live in another city? I mean, W-In is based in Bangkok, but I could move it wherever you want, baby."
There was a hint of seriousness beneath her teasing tone, and I knew she meant it.
If I asked, she would uproot everything, even move to LA if that's what I wanted.
For now, we were living in her house in Bangkok-a luxurious place she had once shared with Pichy. I didn't mind staying there, but P'Fa had suddenly decided to buy another house, one that was currently under construction.
She said she needed a change of scenery, and she also mentioned her love for property investments. But I knew better. She didn't want me to feel uneasy or overwhelmed living in the old house.
I agreed to the move because, honestly, I didn't care where we lived as long as it was with P'Fa. I wouldn't even complain if she asked me to live in a cardboard box with her.
As long as we were together, nothing else mattered.
"I like it here, to be honest. You're right, baby, we definitely should come back to LA sometime in the future. I'm already getting accustomed to life here," I said while caressing her arms that were wrapped around my waist.
