POV ENGFA

After the meeting with the production team and Charlotte yesterday, we finally managed to set a schedule and decided to start taping next week.

Honestly, this whole thing has been a bit of a whirlwind.

About this program, actually, Pichy was the one my creative team suggested for the mentor position, at first. I mean, she's amazing in modeling, no doubt about it. But, of course, some of the team, including Papa, disagreed. They said Pichy is great in modeling but not quite at the same level when it comes to acting. Professionally, I agreed with that.

Then, out of nowhere, Charlotte came back to Thailand and decided to stay here for a while, so Papa and the creative team immediately suggested bringing her on board.
I agreed with that too. Seemed like a no-brainer.

As I was lounging by the pool at our house, Pichy sat beside me, looking thoughtful.

"So... you and P'Char are going to work together again?" Pichy asked, her voice casual, but I could sense the underlying tension.

I nodded, trying to sound as nonchalant as possible. "Yeah, I think it's the best option right now. She's in a higher class when it comes to acting, and she's perfect for this job. She's been a mentor before, even before going to LA, so she knows how this works."

Pichy just nodded quietly and continued eating the fruit salad in her hand. She's usually chatty, so her silence spoke volumes.

"Babe..." I called softly, reaching out to touch her arm, "You're okay with this, right?"

She turned to me and smiled, though it didn't quite reach her eyes. She put the fruit salad down on the small table next to the lounge chair, then walked over to sit at the edge of my chair, our knees almost touching.

"No problem, P'Fa. It's work, you know what's best." She paused, biting her lip for a second. "But if it were something else, we might as well fighting right now!" she said, trying to lighten the mood with a playful boxing pose.

I laughed, genuinely this time, and pulled her closer, resting my head on her shoulder. "No way. I'm not like that. It's all just professional, I swear."

I felt her relax a bit more, her body losing that initial stiffness. She then gently patted my cheek and smiled sweetly, a bit of her usual brightness returning.

"Alright! Let's talk about something else! Or..." she stood up and extended her hand to me, her eyes sparkling with mischief, "I could suggest we do something else." She grinned, that teasing edge back in her voice.

I giggled and took her hand, standing up too, "And what would that be?" I asked, raising an eyebrow, already knowing she had something silly in mind.

She leaned in and whispered with a playful smirk, "Watching a movie in the living room." Then she started walking, pulling me along as if this was the most exciting plan ever.

I burst out laughing, "Oh, I thought it was something else."

She laughed too, turning back to stick her tongue out at me. "Don't be naughty, babe!"

I shook my head, still chuckling, and kept walking toward the living room, her hand warm in mine.

Honestly, everything we've been through this past year with Pichy has felt so light and easy. Almost too easy, like we're just coasting along without any real challenges.

And yet, somehow, this kind of relationship should make me happy, right?

I mean, isn't this what everyone wants?
