part 2

over the past week I have been packing, hanging out with the Loud's and waiting until today came 

today is the day I leave for Key West!

I wake up at 6:00 AM and hop in the shower 

when I get out I get ready for the day and pack the rest of my stuff

its 6:55 so I head downstairs and get my shoes on, say goodbye to my mom, drag my brother out the door and walk to the Louds

we get there and not everyone is ready yet so I wait in the living room and post on my instagram

everyone is ready now so we head to the car and go to the airport

once we get to the airport we go through security and find our gate 

everyone sits down on a bench and we wait for our flight 

"hey Luna wanna get some Starbucks?" I ask her when we get situated

"yeah sure" she says and asks everyone if they want anything before we start walking over

while we are walking I say "hey can I ask you something"

"sure, whats up?" she says  

"um... how did you know that you liked girls?" I ask shyly

she thinks for a second until she says "basically I was talking to this girl when I realized I want to be more than just friends" she looks at me "why?"

I shrug "I think I'm falling for someone, but I'm not sure"

she looks at me "may I ask who?" 

"umm..." I look behind me at Lynn

Luna looks in the direction I'm looking and turns back to me "omg is it Lynn!"

"maybe" I say embarrassed 

Luna grins "that's great, I think you guys would be cute" she says resting an arm on my shoulder

"thanks" I give her a shy smile and we get in line for Starbucks 

we keep chatting as we get our drinks and go back to where the family is 

I walk over to Lynn and hand her drink to her and sit down next to her

everyone is chatting among themselves until we have to board the plane

we get on the plane and I am in the middle seat between Lynn, who is in the window seat, and Luna, who is on the aisle 

I put my bag under my seat and we start takeoff

once we are fully in the air I pull out my book since there is no wifi 

"what are you reading?" Lynn asks me looking at my book

"I'm reading 'King of Sloth' by Ana Huang, shes my absolute favorite author and I've read all 12 of her books that she has so far" I grin 

"that's cool" she smiles "how long have you liked reading?"

"I picked up a book, that was not for school, 3 years ago since my mom said I should start reading and i've loved it ever since" I answer 

reading has always helped me escape to fictional worlds when the real world was boring and I helps my stress go away 

she smiles and nods and goes back to doing her own thing 

I keep reading until I feel like stopping, me and Lynn chat some more about random stuff and I realize how much I love talking to her and just being with her makes me feel so good

lynn's pov

Jules is the only person who i feel really gets me, I love talking to her and I always have so much fun when I'm with her

she makes me happy

we are chatting on the plane right now and she is so gorgeous I can't stop staring at her

but the only thing is... shes not gay.

I really wish she was but shes not and even though its so wrong I cant stop thinking about her 

I've had a crush on Jules for about a year but I haven't done anything about it... and honestly Jules is the reason I am gay, without her I would've never found out I liked girls

I know that is so wrong but it just feels right

"you've seriously never jet skied in your life?!?" Jules asked me when we started talking about things we wanna do in Key West

"no..." I say embarrassed, even though I'm super athletic I've never been jet skiing

"omg I have to bring you we could rent a jet ski and I could teach you!" she exclaims 

I love seeing her light up about the smallest things, its one of the reasons I fell for her, its too cute 

her eyes have a special shimmer when she talks about things that make her happy

"definitely" i smile and we keep chatting until the plane lands
