september, first day of school

me and Adriana are walking down the hallway on our way to our lockers after first period with me complaining and her listening

"why do we have English first period?" I groan "who wants to wake up and have English first?"

she nods back "for real! especially with our new teacher, like who even hired that asshole?"

"exactly" I reply trying to put in my locker combination "anyways, what class do you have next because I can't look like the quiet girl in the corner this year"

she opens her locker and turns to me "um... I think I have math next"

"fuck" I turn to her "I have science next"

"well you better start making more friends" she laughs and shuts her locker "bye"

"I hate you" I groan and shut my locker behind me as I walk away

"love you too" I hear her yell behind her

I chuckle and walk into my classroom

lynn's pov

"you think you know your way around now? because I need to get to second period" I ask Lincoln while checking the time to see how much time I have left to get to class

Lincoln just moved up from his old school into mine so mom said that I'm in charge of making sure he knows where to go

ughhh

"yeah I think I'm good for now" he answers

"okay bye" I wave and start walking to my second period class

as i walk into the classroom i see everyone standing in the back of the room because the teacher is giving assigned seats

i don't really know anyone in this class so i just stay to the side until i spot a very specific shade of blonde in the corner of my eye

it cant be...

is that really her?

I walk over to the other side of the room to see if it is without making it known i'm there

now that I'm closer I can clearly see that it is my favorite person on the planet

slowly, I walk up behind her and whisper in her ear "hi baby"

her head whips around "Lynn?" she whisper screams

I smile when I see her face light up "I've missed you"

she hugs me quickly "me too"

"Jules Harper?" we hear the teacher yell

Jules's head turns and she walks towards where the teacher is telling her to sit

when she sits down she looks back at me and fake pouts

I chuckle quietly and reach my arm out as if she can reach it from her seat

the teacher moves on to the row behind Jules leaving me and the rest of the class waiting for our names the be called

the teacher gets to the seat right behind Jules and calls out "Lynn Loud?"

yes!

I walk over to the seat and put my stuff down about to talk to Jules when the teacher starts talking to me again

"Do I recognize the last name 'Loud?'" she asks

"well I think you had my 4 older sisters?" I answer her
