part 22

a couple days later...

I was hanging out with Luna when my phone buzzed 

"I bet ten bucks it's Lynn texting you" she says as she points at my phone facing down on the bed

I roll my eyes and pick it up 

yeah it's Lynn...

"I'm declining that bet" I say as I open my phone 

"whatever" Luna sighs "it was worth a try" and gets up leaving me by myself

I have a surpriseee

since its the last full day of our trip I wanted to do something fun <3

yesss so excited!!!

what time should I be readyyy

i'll be back in 10 minutes so be ready by then <3

I quickly get up and change into cuter clothes and put on the lipgloss me and Lynn bought together on

by the time i'm ready I hear the front door open and I run downstairs 

"lynnnnn" I hug her when she walks in 

"hi baby!" she says and kisses my forehead 

I smile and pull out of the hug "so... what's my surprise?" 

"just come outside" she laughs and takes my hand pulling me out the door 

when we get outside I see a big duffel bag on the porch

"what is this?" I say confused 

she opens the bag and pulls out roller skates "this is gonna be fun"

"oh my god... I cant believe you actually got us roller skates" I say in shock 

she just shrugs and hands me a pair of skates 

we sit next to each other and put them on 

"so cute" I smile when i'm done 

Lynn smiles back at me "you're so cute"

I laugh "shut up" 

"no" she says and then stand up lifting me with her "ready?" 

"I think..." I say as I stand up

"okay come on, I'll hold your hand so you don't fall" she says making sure to have a tight grip on my hand 

I nod and we start to skate 

wait this isn't actually that hard?

we we skate more and I finally get a good rhythm down 

"you're doing so good love!" Lynn says as she watches me 

"I know right!" I laugh "I thought I would be shit honestly"  

"yeah you've surprised me" she chuckles 

I smile and we keep skating for a while 

I get so caught up in being with Lynn that I don't even realize the crack in the pavement 

and all of a sudden i'm on the ground...

Lynn notices right away "shit baby are you okay?"

"yeah I don't see any blood so that's good" I smile up at her
