lynn's pov
why am I like this...
it is currently the next day and I cant stop thinking about Jules
I really don't want to do this but... fuck it
I walk into Luna's room and shut the door behind me
she looks up from her guitar and puts it down when she sees me
"hey sis what's up?" she smiles and pats her bed for me to sit down
"I need your help." I say sitting down
4 words I never thought I would ever say...
"what do you need help with?" she questions me
"Jules..." I look away "I really like her but I don't know what to do about it and its eating me alive,"
she nods "I get it, I say just try to find the right moment to kiss her and I promise she wont pull back"
"seriously?" I say with a straight face "I came here just for you to tell me to kiss her?"
she stares at me "and..."
"you don't think I've already thought of that?" I tell her "I really want to but I just can't"
Luna just shrugs "whatever, take it or leave it"
"you're no help" I stand up and walk out of the room
but I'm still thinking about Luna's advice
should I try to kiss her?
while I'm in my thoughts I walk into my bedroom and Jules is sitting on the bed looking gorgeous as always
"hey" I smile and sit down next to her
she smiles back as she looks up from her phone "hey"
"what are you doing right now?" I ask looking at her phone
"watching edits" she looks up at me with an innocent smile
"ok" I laugh "I'll leave you to it" I say standing up
"wait" she says and I turn around "stay" she says looking up at me with her big brown eyes
why does she have to be so cute?
"all rightttt" I say jumping back on the bed "what edits are you watching?"
"well I was watching Paige Bueckers edits but not anymore" she smiles and leans her head on my shoulder
I chuckle "ok, what do you want to do now?"
"hmmm" she thinks for a while "I saw this cool inflatable water park that looks cool If you wanna do that?"
"that sounds fun, lets do that then" I stand up and grab her hands to pull her with me "lets go"
"okay" she says and we run to get ready and leave
end of lynn's pov
me and Lynn get to the place and we are amazed by how big the inflatable water park is
there are so many obstacles it's insane
I take Lynn's hand "lets go!" I say pulling her to run with me
"okayyy" she laughs as we run and jump onto the huge inflatable platform
we try climb up to the tallest platform but fail miserably
"I thought you were good at this shit?" I laugh at Lynn as I watch her fall over
"same here" she laughs and gets up
"let me try now" I say and balance my way up to the top
"haha loser" I point at her "I made it and you didn't" I laugh
"you're like a toddler" she laughs "but seriously how the fuck did you do that?"
I shrug "its the dancer in me" I say and we both laugh
"a ballerina can seriously do better than me? I'm offended" she jokes
"hey! never underestimate a dancer" I say "and never call me a ballerina ever again"
"ok ok" she puts her hands up in defense "will you still help me though?" she looks up
"I guess..." I joke and help her get up to the top
when she gets up we both have a weird moment where we stare at each other like we are about to kiss
I hate awkwardness so I say "I bet I can do a backflip off this platform" to ease the tension
Lynn starts laughing "oh really?"
"yeah watch" I say and jump off the platform to do a backflip effortlessly and land in the water
"oh my god you actually did it..." she says in disbelief "I thought you were joking"
"when I say I'm gonna do something I do it" I yell up but then remembering my chat with Luna and Adriana
I told them I would tell Lynn how I felt...
"jump down with me I don't wanna be aloneee" I yell to her
"ok" she yells and jumps down making a huge splash on me
"Lynn!" I yell when she splashes me "are you serious?" I splash her back
it turns into war between us but when we are finally done we both get back up and go to a different platform
this platform is much farther from the others so we can have some fun just the two of us
we sit down and lay for a while since we are both pretty exhausted from the day
but we are both still smiling like idiots
Lynn turns to me while we are laying and I turn towards her wanting to know what she's gonna say
"I think its so cute how one side of your smile always goes higher than the other when your really happy" she tells me "I can always tell if your genuinely happy by what your smile looks like"
"really?" I ask her
she really pays attention to me
I love it
"nobody's ever pointed that out" I tell her
"its one of my favorite things about you" she smiles "other than your attitude"
I laugh but deep down I know...
